Thank you for sharing this. I was currently laid off in my PM role and I was only in the role for about a year. I was lost on how I can show that I have the skill set to show even though I dont have 5 plus years of experience. I appreciate the tips you provide!

This is fantastic! Thank you for sharing-it has impressed me greatly. As a current Senior UI/UX Designer, I’m also aiming to transition into a Product Manager role if possible in future.

Thanks for the nice sharing! I appreciate it! I noticed in the background section you put "product specialist" and "product manager", but as I´ve seen other videos I understand that you were an onboarding specialist. The question is, have you changed the role name for the portfolio? I´m asking because I´m looking for product manager roles right now with no previous experience in the role entirely, I was Head of customer support, but truly that was my product, I did many product-related jobs, ex. Launched customer support-related features like feedback form etc. However, when HR sees the title in my resume they make assumptions that I don´t have any experience in this.
Moreover, I had 2 year career gap to learn a language of my new country, during this I worked as a freelancer and launched my app, so they saw the gap and didn´t call me back. Now I am considering putting in the resume instead of "career transition" for the freelancer and product owner role.

Totally aligned on updating the role name to fully represent what you do in your jobs. Sometimes the role name in the company are not aligned with industry standard, so role name that was given does not truly make sense.
What’s more important is the work and experience that you had and the value that you can bring to your new team!
Some what you mentioned above, it seems like u have a lot of transferable skill! :)
