People for christ sakes...this was not meant to be a trap. Back then in Japanese traditional theatre, women had no role in the creative arts, so the women were played by guess what, MEN. So instead of going and judging this dance or thinking you know what's best, why don't you actually open your history books for a change? Or rather why don't you read the damn description box? Sex and gender are separate and gender stereotypes do not need to apply to you if you don't want them to. He might be a male and might even be a boy but he is allowed to dress in kimono if he likes. Not only this but it is historically accurate, however this rule does not need to be followed unless they find it should be.

I love even the pauses where he will subtly tilt his head or move a hand, it adds a sort of tension because I am so used to dances where the dancers just has to be moving and doing crazy moved the entire time.
