As a RN ( registered nurse) I'm not afraid of loosing my job or quitting my job because I learnt how to save to invest putting my money back to work to make more money. I'm not just after the money but the freedom to live on my terms

i’m so happy i clicked on this. i’ve made the decision to quit my 9-5 and i’m truly at peace with it. i’m so much bigger than just sitting at a desk being underpaid. i resonated with what you said, i have a higher purpose. and i’m moving in faith and abundance that God will guide me and keep me on my right path. I was scared to quit out of scarcity and fear but f that! I have faith and I’m confident in my decision. i loved this video. great luck to you 🥰

I'm in the same boat. I know there has to be more to life than just 9-5 for 40 years then dying. But for me it's more than just about freedom. My parents are getting older and I'm just wasting time in an office instead of spending time with the people that matter. I dont even have time to work on myself, to follow my passions or try new things. It isn't right that you're supposed to work most of your life then ONLY have free time when you're old and your loved ones are dead or dying. If anything, this pandemic showed that life is precious and my purpose isnt to enter numbers into excel. I'm putting in my two weeks end of this month. I don't have anything else lined up, but I have enough money saved up to last a year if I lived extremely frugally .

You wouldn't believe how much I'd appreciate a location-independent regular corporate job at this point in time...
I've noticed that workplace culture has distinct traits. For example, a company may value work done quickly and tolerate small errors, while another may prioritize precision and attention to detail. Some companies have a culture of collaboration with a stigma against those who are "too" independent, while others expect employees to be self-sufficient and not disturb others. Although some companies have a culture of innovation in which untested ideas are funded, most observe industry developments and trends and race to adopt them.
Nobody is happy in a high-stress work environment that doesn't fit their personality. Fit is more important than skills.

The harder you work in Corporate America the more (and more and more and more.....) you get taken advantage of. Seems like in most companies/firms its the fuck ups that get promoted or get to transfer to interesting positions. The harder you work they just think hey may as well keep John/Jane Doe there - they are doing this shitty pointless work that nobody else wants to do. The whole system is FUCKED.
