- October is right around the corner! 🍂 It’s the perfect time to cozy up for Halloween 2024 with some spooky games! 👻🎃 I've shared a list of must-play games for the season - cozy, with just the right amount of mystery and eerie vibes. But don't worry, horror fans, I’ve thrown in a few classic scares too!

I would also recommend Beacon Pines! Fun little cozy horror where you get to explore all the twisting story lines.

Little Nightmares II is actually a prequel to the first game! They are my fav as well ☺

How about a spooky visual novel? Ghost in the Pool has been out on Steam for a while but recently got a Switch release, it's quite short and the localisation is kinda bad but the artwork is amazing (B&W manga style very obviously inspired by Junji Ito).
I admire a visual novel, especially a Japanese style one. Thanks for the recommendation! The black and white is amazing as well, it reminds me of Slay the Princess.

Minor spoilers, but new players get confused, so this should be pointed out. The cabin is just the first act. Love this game, the story has hit me right in the feels.
Isn't little witch in the woods still in early access? I've been wanting to play it but its not finished yet on pc.
It still is! But since initial release was 2022, I figured it's worth adding in as the devs are still making updates and progress to the game. Their last update was April 2024!
