Definitely snagging me this colorway! Have my alarm set for 1am. Central time for the 2am launch. I gotta have the Black with green colorway especially learning about the translucent midsole. Did you go TTS or half size down. I keep reading multiple different opinions. I dont have a narrow foot some I'm skeptical about going to a 12 from my normal 12.5
I have the Tokyo version and tbh they're up there with ultraboost. Much more squishy than previous 4d. Although I love the firm feel of og 4d and I own about 8 pair off the top of my head. Now that I'm thinking about it I'm wearing a pair of ultra boost on my feet right now and the forward 4D are probably more comfortable. Not sure how that'll be on feet for long periods of time yet. Or how they'll hold up but definitely comfy. And they look dope in person
I have the cloud white/core black/crystal white (Q46448) pair and went true to size with it. The sneaker runs long and narrow, which gives a little room in the toe box. But I am by no means a narrow footer, so pretty sure if I went a half size down it would've been too snug and just wouldn't fit right.
@@adammitchell2140 I kinda think like if one is fortunate enough to try on this pair before buying it, it's definitely the way to go to know what fits best. I really just went the safe route by going true to size since I've never sized down in any Adidas shoe.
@@THSNDS was it the first 40fwd so far you bought? Have you gotten them yet? Only asking because I purchased the Tokyo pair and 11 that I normally wear in ultraboost.. but there were too big. So I got the 10 and 1/2 and returned those and they were perfect
@@THSNDS although everyone's feet are different so we can't really go off what you and I say. Some may have super narrow long feet. Mine are 11 and wide so I love Adidas. But again these 10 and a half
@@adammitchell2140 yes, this is my first 4DFWD. I wanted the Tokyo pair but they sold out fast. For UBs, some I even had to go half size up, like the recent UB21, that shoe was too tight for me. I also sized up in UB climas, so most of the time I really go TTS.
Great review! The shoes look amazing. I wonder how they compare to Ultraboost 21 regarding running. Are they better for running compared to Ultraboost 21?
@@daniellopez8894 I don't think we have a Adidas store around me. Just Footlocker, Fleet Feet, Finish Line, etc. Hope they still have some of them after all the early access people.
I doubt it for releases like this. Once the hype dies down on the 4dfwd some colorways might go on sale eventually. The main reason I purchased these early access. You'll probably still be able to purchase them when they drop on Thursday but that window is pretty short and you'll pay top price for those shoes anyway so I might as well get them while you can. Certain color ways that don't sell will drop in price eventually but do you want those? Honestly these 4dfwds are amazingly comfortable. I own several pair of 4ds and the 4dfwd are on a whole other level. Although I do still like the firm feel comfort of the og 4d
The drop is way too high.... Adidas need to start releasing their models in optional 4mm drop shoes to compete with Skechers Performance Hyperburst models, Hoka, Asics, etc.... I never go above 5mm... it feels so unnatural and changes the natural biomechanics of your feet, legs, knees, hips and spine.... they actually cause me discomfort.... Adidas would capture alot of extra runners I think if they tried this..... Nice video though bro. ....
@@wonkydonkey7899 I ended up buying a pair and what a surprise I was right, I walked for about half hour every day for 7 days and they’re down to the 4D so I have a pair of trainers 👟 that I’m now going to throw away that are basically brand new I will never ever buy another pair of Adidas trainers again Never so don’t waste your money 👍🏽👍🏽
@@DROPSHOTA I regret getting a pair too. This was all hype that made people purchase this new technology adidas is experimenting. Some reviews come up saying 4d fwd hasn’t lived up to the promise of running shoes should be. It’s still a work in progress. For now though, it’s quite suitable for a casual shoe to knock around with.
Cheers boikee much appreciated...... Excellent video & information....🥰
Underrated video and channel! Buying those today and some extra info about them and the history around them was really interesting!
Hey. Came across your channel last night. Was on the fence with getting these. Any way thanks to your vid I was at Sandton this morning.
Your review made me pull the trigger on the early access. The translucent 4d made my decision immediately. Thanks for what you are doing.

Great review as always! Love the translucent 4D midsole and iridescent hits. How much more comfortable are these compared to the last Gen 4D?

I’m still on the fence I mean if they are as or more comfortable as Ultraboost I’d buy them
Where did you get the jeans from?? 🔥
This is a good review. Keep up the good work!

I have wide feet and still had to go down a half size. 11 in ultraboost and other 4d but 10 and a half in these fit perfect for me

they pretty much doing the same job. but i personally find 4d more comfortable.
if i wear size 12 in other brands, what size should i purchase in these shoes? my feet is thin and long
This fits half a size bigger, so 11.5 will fit you just fine given that you have narrow feet as mentioned.
Great videos 📹 👌 👏 👍
4d fwd pulse on adidas. Looks pretty cool. I’ll jus wait until u review them. Wink wink 😉
When are you reviewing the NMD 20th NERD anniversary pair
Should I get these or the green ones ????
I love the green hits on this pair. Are we not getting half sizes?
There should be, last drops have had had half sizes 🙌🏻
Just copped 9.5, so can confirm there are half-sizes.

Will we ever get better pricing on these / or on 4Ds? They are kinda expensive …

Why do these footwear companies not think about the rubber dole they will be warm down in no time = these will not last and be shit
You have a point. They should’ve used Continental rubber like that of ub19 - 21.

That is because in reality it is a lifestyle shoe not a running shoe, they just market it as a running shoe
I don’t need anymore shoes. But you got me in my feelings right now…. 🫣
