Very interesting video. I guess it adds another dimension to all the other skills you two have. Looking forward to seeing more of this project. Many thanks.
Another interesting video lads hope you and your families have a great Xmas and the new year brings you a new hip looking forward to more videos next year best wishes from Scotland 🏴
Great Job, I like renovation work loads of challenges and variety of work. I’m just on a barn conversation. Your leg looks sore bro. Take it easy I know what it’s like😢….Have a happy Christmas guys and a prosNew Year👍
Great prep. Lads. Just make scaffold safer for yourselves and get hand rail behind you working as tools are always a trip hazard. Hard hats as well. Wish you both all the best and stay safe.🎉🎄
Nice work getting the floor above supported for the installation of the beams. Them things looked heavy. Glad to got a telehandler coming to put them up you would kill yourselves trying to lift them up in place. Cheers😊
I currently have a project where I need to create two openings, each 40 feet wide, in an existing block wall. I have structural engineer drawings showing the final configuration of a beam and columns in the new opening, with new foundations, and new strongbacks bolted to the wall. No hints on how to get there, although temporary support is clearly needed. Also the engineer assumed filled block cells around the openings, when in reality the existing block fill is spotty. There are no notes to verify block fill and to place it if missing, of course. If I hadn't happened to look at the details and noticed the slight patterning to indicate block fill, no one would have noticed and a partial building collapse might have happened. We have other issues attaching metal stud framing to existing block walls, except the walls aren't filled where they need to be and we need to knock 2 inch split face fins off the face of the existing blocks to attach the wall framing anchors. All without just smashing the face completely off the block. I don't know if it is nice that you face similar challenges over there, but there it is.
Great job lads I have a job in ireland for you if interested take out a pillar a d insert newr rsj 🎉into the wall so it's flat you guys are the professionals Happy christmas
I had two of these at 5 mtrs long delivered and they just pushed them off the back off the lorry. Left to my own devices, rolled them all the way round the house using short pieces of scaffold pole. Eventually got them in and hire a Genie for a day. Best £50 I spent on our build. It's painful watching you hobble about, hope things become easier.
@ yes that’s the problem isn’t it with self employment, but don’t think about it it’s the only way,I guess you’ll be watching homes under the hammer daily 🤣😆😆
If you cant go 6 weeks without money after grafting all your life you need to change jobs now 😂…....money wont buy you time just makes life a bit easier .....just do enough fuck the tax man ...
