    Awesome!
This was super helpful for reconnecting the 20’ lead my dog chewed through. Thanks!

Hi this is Tobias from Germany. I needed that knot because i hace bought such a sling like that but in my mind i had been think that the two end will be stitched. Now my question: Can i use this knot to make a Sling using it for anchor my Staticrope on the foot of the tree or is that knot not Strong enough?
    Thanks for your help!

What approximate percentage of strength is gained/lost terminating tubular webbing by sewing it vs. tying with a knot?

People please stay away from this knot. The Deutscher Alpenverein (DAV) have documanted 20 fatalities conecred with the use of this knot. It can come undone even under tention when moving over formations. Double fisherman's is a safer alternative.
