  • Following the controversy stirred up by the Tucker Carlson interview with Daryl Cooper we argue that the bourgeois narrative on WW2 should be questioned properly.

What is the name of the book? I was just thinking about the history of the second world war that can be relied on, I know it is not just that particular theme in history that is not easy to get reliable history books on, almost with any history we are presented with the same issue.
I might just check out the book you mention, as I am looking for a reliable history book on the subject.

My father faught the French Vichi in Syria in the early 1940"s. He was in the Seventh Division of The Australian Infantry Force. His Division was taken out of Syria and sent to New Guinea where he faught against the Japanese at Milne Bay.. In view of France having Fascist roots, I am strongly opposed to the French occupying a.position as a permanent member of th UN Security Councel.

You sound like an intelligent, educated, civilised guy but you really need to read what Douglas Read reveals about the Nuremberg charade in his book "The Controversy of Zion" (notably about personnel and the timing of the executions) to have any understanding of that unholy enterprise which is grounded in truth.
Douglas Read was the celebrated foreign correspondent of the Times from the early 1920s up to just before WW2 when he resigned in disgust over the kind of editorial suppression of the truth we have gotten so used to today from EVERY mainstream media outlet.

Thank you Alexander! You know how many arguments I had over the years (I am 71). I even argue now, but what I get is simple and repeated brainwashed replies. Even in University as a mature age student I relied mostly on Marx and Engles, plus my father's statement who was a Greek sailor before, during and after the 2nd world war. He always said thank the heavens for the Soviet Union or we would be kicked from here to the ends of the world. He passed away when the Berlin Wall fell-1989. He considered Mao great who made the Chinese 'people' again. He went to China before the war and hated how the people were treated (as slaves). Great work Comrade! (P S I told my 80 + Welsh friend that the red flag comes from Wales and he said he never knew that!).

big ups for the video. I guess Feder's anti-usury policy was used to entice the working class's support. He was then replaced by Haljmar Schact whose personal connection to Montagu Norman and creating the Bank of International Settlements is interesting; the fellow certainly got around.

also appealing to emotion (like calling the ruling class completely heartless plus some expletive) is probably nice but it's unscientific and is not marxist .. it's idealistic and probably not even true .. this is important because it just goes against the most basic marxist (and hegelian) truth that every consciousness begins from itself and it's own material conditions, and just blocks the understanding of why this or that class generally lacks empathy for their class opponent ...

Michael Hudson is literally the god-son of trotsky. He seems to be constantly pining for "industrial capitalism" (i.e. capitalism) and dumping on "Stalinism" (i.e. socialism).

I love your show but you have not obviously been engaged with Hudson's work too deeply. Unless you've read or a great deal of all his work, how do you know what exactly he has or has not engaged in and how can you purport to be such an authority on what his work does or does not address.
