Thank you both for doing this video for us. The main thing I always notice when the two of you film together is the way you look at each other. It is always with love and that says more about you as a couple than words could :) I really enjoy Doug's sense of humor and yes, he is a very handsome man. Especially because he doesn't think so. Thirty years together is a wonderful milestone especially in today's world. My husband and I celebrate 29 years this month and feel very blessed especially, like you, this was my second marriage and I also had two young children when we married. Have a wonderful weekend. Kat

Melissa I agree with you... I like to look pretty for my hubby... even at bedtime. I like to smell good and although I put my hair up at night in a silk scarf, I always get pretty ones with a nice print... and fashion it on my head so it doesn't look like I am about to go mop the kitchen or something LOL.

I put my hair up at night in clips to control my frizz and try to define the curl when I wear it natural. But like you, I try to do it in such a way that I don't look like a crazy woman. I guess I just want him to think I look okay.

After so many years I can see how much in love the two of you are with each other. I can see the love you both have in your eyes. What a beautiful threesome. The love and respect you two have for each other just blazes through and does my heart good to see. Those of us who manage to keep ourselves in these long marriages (and happy ones) are truly blessed I feel. We hit 34 years and actually felt quite proud of ourselves!! I am the SAME way when it comes to always wanting to look nice for my husband and to keeping certain things private, i.e. going to the bathroom or broadcasting bodily functions. That may work for some marriages, but in my mind I feel like my husband met me and fell in love with me, looking and behaving a certain way, and I'd like to maintain that level of attraction and class for him as much as I can.
