    also, great idea of using small machinists square for practice. if it turns out ok can give it to someone.

    i love when tools have that extra custom flair to them. looks good so far! i hope you show the shading and inking and everything else.

    Hi Justin, just found you throungh the Hand Engravers Podcast. Love your work on Instagram, really glad you have a YT channel. Ive been hand engraving with pushers and hammer and chusel on and off for a couple years and your episode on HEP gave me a lot of inspiration and drive to get better. Thanks so much. Subbed :)

    tks for advice on the 90 degree graver. and much else.
    what would be a good set of gravers for a beginner since i’ll have to make and grind them all myself!-?

      I’m of the opinion that you should use what works for you. I purchase blanks from air graver. I am using the Ray Cover set primarily. Although I have few other templates as well. I highly recommend this system for ease of use and consistency.

      I’m sorry I don’t have have the time. I do recommend Ray Cover in Missouri. He’s an outstanding teacher!

    hello, what is the name of the plastic you use? is there a purchase link? The videos are different and very clear and very helpful for beginners. Oh yes, I have to make a video explaining how to sharpen the engraver you are using. sharpening is the key to this art isn't it😄😄
