Engraving a Unique Monogram on a Pocket Watch Case

This is the second and final video in a series of a pocketwatch engraving project. Here I am applying a sand blasted finish to parts of the case to give the monogram a unique look and finish.

The sand blast looks good. I have seen soda blast video it being done but it was still pretty dusty. If I remember right they did it outside the cabinet outdoors.

It is very dusty and I wore a respirator. I should have mentioned that I did not do it at my bench. I did it outside of my studio.

если использовать не круглый песок, а кристалический, можно получить не просто матовую, а матово-искристую поверхность.
