These are very sad and all, but I still find it kind of hilarious that when Mikau tells the tragic story of what happened to Lulu's eggs, literally moments from death, he does it with a head banging guitar solo
He was committed to the end... still was pretty sad tho :( i hate when a funny moment turns real in a split second.

There is an analysis a few days ago. She had feelings, but tried to hold because she knew that they wouldn't end together. Also he was attracted to hear by some scene, but not necessarily in love

the movement control can fail some times, the upper world is empty, those are some things that can say a hater of the game

I had almost no fun whatsoever playing the game but the the story line got me really emotional
all these scenes always get to me especially twilight princess, breath of the wild and skyward sword. such a beautiful masterpiece of a videogame series.

In Majora's Mask, when Link saves the ranch and delivers the milk to clock town and he gets his hug, it really hit me in the feels. We forget that Link is just a little boy during the events of these games and him just accepting the hug was really heartwarming especially when the dialogue says "You could get used to this..."
Being the chosen hero, he has the triforce of courage. That's why he doesn't have PTSD lol
When Navi just left Link alone without even saying a word just touched me so hard

Don’t forget Zelda’s failure at the Shrine of Wisdom in BOTW. My favorite scene in any video game. Absolutely beautiful.
What hurts me is when she's at the spring and asks the spirits what is wrong with her, wondering why her power eludes her so. She struggled so hard for years on her own and had nothing to show for all her efforts. Not to her father, the kingdom, let alone herself. That's honestly pretty soul crushing in itself. All the anxiety, grief, and constant outside pressure did not do her any favors.
Mikau's death always hits hard for me, especially considering no one knows and Link won't speak

YES. Skyward Sword's Link and Zelda have the best relationship in my opinion. You can tell they aren't just obligated to be by each other's side by destiny or by a job, they help each other and care for each other and sacrifice because they LOVE one another and it's really beautiful.

And to think, the scene with Link's uncle becomes sadder in one of the manga adaptations of A Link To The Past; long before the fateful battle that costs his uncle his life, Link tells his uncle how grateful he is for raising him and how he loves him. Such a thing actually brings his uncle to tears.
I read the adaptation too. The ending makes it hit harder too.
The only Zelda game I have ever played is botw about four months ago and next is skyward sword and I’m so excited to continue my Zelda journey!
It's awesome, Skyward Sword is my favorite Zelda game.
Of course I also love BOTW, it's an awesome world and I'm excited for the sequel, and I hope to see the story and interactions, especially with Link and Zelda, I love games with a lot of story and lore that touch your heart immensely and that do that too also with the characters

The scene where Deku Butler crys infront of the soulless corpse of his beloved son makes my heart crumble in sorrow considering how unbelievably sad it is. Probably one of, if not the saddest moment in the History of the series.

Breath of the wild is my first Zelda game (I know I’m late) but I’m starting to see how these games have impacted different people and that alone is enough to get me further into the Zelda series

Well, Ocarina Of Time and Majora's Mask were the first Zelda games that made feel this way. And yeah, what you say true. By the way, NES Zelda was my first Zelda game I've played back 8 years ago when I was 6 years old (just to let you know ☺️). Among all, Ocarina Of Time is my all time favourite Zelda game (which I recommend you play, it's an amazing game). Breadth Of The Wild is my 4th favourite Zelda game (I know some of you will be mad at this, sorry).
Ik I played BOTW on my switch when it came out in 2017 and it was my first switch game and boy that game hit me hard....when I saw the memories(I didn’t get all of them on my switch tho I have seen them all) and those.....just....really were sad...since I did play BOTW I definitely want to get BOTW2 and age of Calamity

Cannot believe you didn't put one of the saddest stories of MM! If Romani gets captured by the aliens, the next she appears like an empty shell and screams in pain wih no memories, while Cremia cries in guilty for not believing Romani before.
Also if you do save Romani, on the last day Cremia tells Romani she can drink the special milk. This is because Cremia is aware that the moon is falling so she wants Romani to be happy before they die.

The King's death in WW is the one that gets me the most. Then its LA's ending.

Ocarina of time, Majoras mask, and Wind waker are the original silent hill trilogy of the zelda series. The best of their series and best of possibly their genre, and nothing has ever dared to surpass them.

I take it as "you've been through so much you can't full on cry" sort of thing, due to being so mentally drained, in pain, and weary from constant running. it's all you can muster when you finally break down. You want to cry harder, you know you probably should and get it out of your system sooner rather than later, but you literally can't. Circumstances won't allow it.
It makes me sad that both Link and Zelda get reincarnated just to go through the same shit all over again. I truly hope one day they'll break away from that curse
I like how Link is expressive to the point of actually crying a bit in Skyward Sword but then in BOTW/TOTK, his reaction to everything (except cooking fckn food) is essentially 🗿

The scenes and fight that starts at 1:20:40 absolute broke me. I had to pause after that because I broke down as well and literally couldn't see the game through my tears. First and only Zelda game to do that to me. Yeah the rest is sad but I love the lil 🥚 so much and I was devastated 😭

Twilight, Skyward and BOTW have the best emotional scenes. Zelda's breakdown in that last one always makes me tear up. They left Mipha's scene with Link out but thag one hits me hard, although it's not as nearly as tragic, it just makes me sad

fi's farewell hit me the most out of all these scenes (besides TP, but that's another story-), as much as they were all emotional in their own way, this scene hit hard. i can admit that for most fi isn't the most lively and beloved character yet for me she's such a special character as for alot of zelda fans i'm sure and the way we as link part with her stuck with me. the way she explains to link that he must place the sword back in the most robotic way as we have learned to know her but ends up waking back up to finally express her farewell to link just shows how she's evolved throughout her journey with link. that moment we hear that familiar sound of the sword waking up right as link walks away broke me in so many ways, and it hits hard every single time. and do not even get me started on her theme. istg those single notes on the piano send literal chills down my spine every time i hear the start of it-
"before i enter the sleep that calls me to the sword, i wish to relay to you words that i recorded many times over the course of our journey....many have said them to you thus far, but now i wish to say them to you for myself...thank you, master link. may we meet again in another life." that. THAT hit so fucking hard
This franchise has so many sad moments period. But for me Botw was the saddest. The quality of the cutscenes, and the voice acting makes it even sadder. 1:03:42 is my favorite

45:21 Ohhhhh, that did it. That DEFINITELY did it. The scene with Link's Grandma in Wind Waker chokes me up because nobody wants a sweet old lady to worry, but I'll be damned if Link promising something as simple as waking Zelda up from a sacrificial power nap doesn't hit me in the feels.
I never realized until now... that the kid playing the flute in A Link To The Past is a 2D pixel model of Gulley (or Gulley a 3D model of him-it's the same).
And yes, I always got sad -and scared- when he turned into wood.
Always remember for new Zelda fans, their games will always hav mixed emotional. But tear moments will happen
