As far as I'm concerned this is the most impressive song on the entire album. It's like Told's vocals try to pull the song ahead (tempo wise), while Hamilton's bass and Koehler's drums drag their heels, with Bradford and Rousseau's guitars being dragged back and forth. It creates this amazing feeling of discord that fits the lyrics perfectly. Whenever I listen to the album, this is always the one song I turn up the volume for.
The french message at the end (3:16) is from Montréal's subway '' Attention, service interrompu pour une durée indéterminée sur la ligne verte entre les stations Viau et Honoré-Beaugrand '' It means that the subway service is shutdown for an unknown period of time between those two station.
Obsessively love this song so much! At 2:16 on the track, I blast it in my car, air guitar the beautiful melody, song the lyrics at the top of my lungs, and somehow feel like the villain in a fantasy novel having so much power he can simply throw his arms out and send his enemy flying backward... Or maybe I'm just weird and love Silverstein too much. That could be it, too. lol Been my favorite band for nearly ten years now! Love you guys!
Probably my favorite track off the album. Between this and Buried at Sea. So proud of Silverstein, I never once imagined they'd come this far...not that they didn't have the talent for it. I still remember first listening to them back in 2003? I think. Off a sampler victory records CD when I bought a Thursday album.
Holy fuck, I just realized how good this album is today, after thrashing it all week. I've been a fan since 2006, but this is honestly their best album to date in my opinion.
Considering who I used to be back in the day... dying in your sleep is out. The crucifixion forever sealed the Earth as the underworld. No man on Earth will ever reach Heaven that way.. I can feel the pressure bro. Hope the pain gets taken away..
TheBellzie Also at the very end, it says that the station Viau and honore beaugrand Are closed on the green line. Fun fact It's in montreal (qc) and I live next to it.
The voice says: Warning. Service interrupted for an undetermined length on the green line, between stations Vio and Honoré Beaugrand. (I'm pretty sure it's from the metro in Montréal) Awesome song, by the way!
After watching so many of my favorite bands crumble from autumn to ashes, the hurt process, underoath etc... im glad that senses fail and silverstein are thriving they are gonna be the rolling stones of the 90s kids. Im just happy cause the newer bands replicating this are garbage and wont last long they basically go like this verse screams chorus clean yadadada over n over there is no heart to it
For anyone who cares, the French at the end of this song (*I think*) is saying the next stop is coming up, sorta sticking to the sound effects theme in the beginning of Toronto abridged
I just heard this song for the first time, was on my phone and I am from Montreal and just went how the fuck am I hearing the metro station announcements right now? Legit got trolled by Silverstein.
I really love this song, I´m not very fan of Frozen but the chorus reminds me Let It Go's chorus, maybe somebody in the band was watching a lot this movie hahaha.
+Cameron Howerton They're all amazing. Go back and listen to "Discovering The Waterfront" and "Rescue." They've changed so much but only for the better!
Every album they have made is fantastic. Old fans would disagree with this but their best album to date was This Is How The Wind Shifts. Older fans will swear by Discovering The Waterfront, which is one of the best albums I have ever heard in my life, but somehow TIHTWS trumped it. A Shipwreck In The Sand was an amazing album as well. My order would be: 1. This Is How The Wind Shifts 2. Discovering The Waterfront 3. A Shipwreck In The Sand... 4. Rescue 5. When Broken Is Easily Fixed 6. Arrivals & Departures 7. I Am Alive In Everything I Touch and 8. Short Songs....... It only gets better than this album. Not to say this album is bad, not saying that at all. Just that most of their other albums are more enjoyable to me.
That end tho! Hhahaha It's french cauz it's from my city (Montreal in Canada) subway station when they have to stop the subway between one station and another...I ear that thing every fuckin day! Warning Warning service suspended on the green line for a uncertain period between station Viau and Honoré-Beaugrand! It is so perfect! XD Now each time I gonna ear that thing I'll think of Silverstein!
+Scar Vittori I grew up in Canada... Montreal but I don't have the accent... For some reason. I can speak French though... J'ai grandi au Canada ... Montréal, mais je n'ai pas l'accent ... Pour une raison quelconque . Je peux parler français mais ...
Scar Vittori Yep, i was making my way around since I flew there. My grandparents have family there and we needed to get around the city. I remember someone screaming Silverstein lyrics on the subway....
Silverstein is timeless. They can't make bad music.
^^^
Cordell Graber \m/
+Cordell Graber Then they make a song that's terrible.. BUT THE SONG THEY RELEASED YESTERDAY WAS BOMB!!!!
that's the truth
+Mynameismcgyver thats not true. in this is how the wind shifts only 4 songs were good
This band is underrated.
Sup Dewd No, they are just fairly unknown in the grand scheme of things. People who know about Silverstein know they are great
+wilson0213 Yes. Agreed.
+Sup Dewd Underrated? Underrated you ass! fucking noob :v
+Victor Tapia calm down.
+Victor Tapia do you know what underrated means? I don't mean they suck. I am just surprised more people don't know about them.

Nice riffs and drums too
My thought last exactly.. I headbang while screaming the chorus everytime
@@arthurlisi9296And I bet you sound cringy and look like a doinker doing it

Completely in love with the new album... Another amazing job Silverstein....
Obsessively love this song so much! At 2:16 on the track, I blast it in my car, air guitar the beautiful melody, song the lyrics at the top of my lungs, and somehow feel like the villain in a fantasy novel having so much power he can simply throw his arms out and send his enemy flying backward...

Been my favorite band for nearly ten years now! Love you guys!
It gives me serious feelings
I get the chills, as my dopamine surges! GREAT timing!!😆😵😝👍
This album has to be just about the most consistent Silverstein record. It's heavy, every track is solid...2 slow ones, mostly bangers
Silverstein is way too underrated, I tink they are really good
best song on the album without a doubt
Probably my favorite track off the album. Between this and Buried at Sea. So proud of Silverstein, I never once imagined they'd come this far...not that they didn't have the talent for it. I still remember first listening to them back in 2003? I think. Off a sampler victory records CD when I bought a Thursday album.
Haha I remember the victory records samplers
They put a lot of attention to detail and passion in thier work...its hard to believe they are a 20yr old band lol
Agreed. This album just shows that Silverstein keeps going, and growing. For the better.
Holy fuck, I just realized how good this album is today, after thrashing it all week. I've been a fan since 2006, but this is honestly their best album to date in my opinion.
Yep, silverstein, I'm never disappointed.
Considering who I used to be back in the day... dying in your sleep is out. The crucifixion forever sealed the Earth as the underworld. No man on Earth will ever reach Heaven that way.. I can feel the pressure bro. Hope the pain gets taken away..
The french voice is because the next song is "Je Me Souviens" which is Quebec's motto.
TheBellzie Also at the very end, it says that the station Viau and honore beaugrand Are closed on the green line. Fun fact It's in montreal (qc) and I live next to it.
+Kaito Radke So I neighbort! Im from Montreal!
Leaving my mark as I've listened to this song's album
Urghhh Silverstein, so freaking perfect. This is the best album theyve made yet. You guys can do no wrong. So awesome.
They never let me down. It's freaking awesome!! ^O^
Love this song........... COLLIDE!!!
The guitar in this song really gives me a strong Senses Fail vibe, Life is not a Waiting Room era. Anyone else?
definitely hear it!
***** I hear it now that you mention it. Especially during the chorus.
***** I was thinking that a second ago, no lie.. I hate that Senses Fail has changed.
I really dig their new stuff, but they're older stuff is definitely my favorite from them ZombiesExistTomorrow
ZombiesExistTomorrow Personally, I really love their new sound. Now, to get back to Silverstein... That whole album is amazing!
These three final songs are the best.
The last in French !!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I love you Silverstein hahaha =D !!!! French power !!!!!!
Saw them play this live in Michigan last night!! Amazing!!
They have always sound good
Another gem from the album
Ok but that melody at :59 are we just not going to talk about that
THIS SONG ROCKS!!!!!!
God it has been a while since I've heard these guys.
I forgot how amazing they are
The voice says: Warning. Service interrupted for an undetermined length on the green line, between stations Vio and Honoré Beaugrand.
(I'm pretty sure it's from the metro in Montréal)
Awesome song, by the way!
Thanks for interpreting!
That's exactly what it said... But the name is ''Viau'' xD
Le empecé a oir por allá que sacó "Still Dreaming" y ahora oír cuanto ha cambiado, joder este albúm es bastante bueno!. (Y)
Love this song ♥
I mean this song is incredible 120k views is far lest than I was expecting. jeez.
The end of the song killed me lol... Happens all the time when I take the subway...
Can't wait to see them this weekend!! 😁
This album is so awesome. Thanks guys. Love it.

Favorite song on the album
They're still golden that's for sureeee. ^~^
SILVERSTEIN ROCKS!!!!!!!

waiting for them to release a song I don't like. it's been 10 years and it still hasn't happened. this song is sick.
2:35 Lmao A Puppy roles inside me xD
thanks i can't unhear that now
Love the sound of this one :)
The best song! :)
Staring my father in the face in the end. A flash and cry in the wake!
that intro sounds like their own song "Stand Amid The Roar" but quicker :P
Yep, im from montreal, it is the metro ;)
Nice touch with the STM sound bite
I really love this song, I´m not very fan of Frozen but the chorus reminds me Let It Go's chorus, maybe somebody in the band was watching a lot this movie hahaha.
Wait... what? lol
Love this song :D
I'm a new fan and I love this album... What's their best album yet???
+Cameron Howerton They're all amazing. Go back and listen to "Discovering The Waterfront" and "Rescue." They've changed so much but only for the better!
+Cameron Howerton ....I believe it's almost like a time line. Start from the begining (DTWF- IAAIEIT [album abvrevs] )
I would start with When Broken is Easily Fixed, but I think Discovering the Waterfront is their best album.
+Alex Cantu When Broken is Easily Fixed was their first full studio album
Every album they have made is fantastic. Old fans would disagree with this but their best album to date was This Is How The Wind Shifts. Older fans will swear by Discovering The Waterfront, which is one of the best albums I have ever heard in my life, but somehow TIHTWS trumped it. A Shipwreck In The Sand was an amazing album as well. 02:16 is when you reach eargasm.
Doesn't matter if the love never comes back

J'ai grandi au Canada ... Montréal, mais je n'ai pas l'accent ... Pour une raison quelconque . Je peux parler français mais ...
It's alright. Probably you have already ear that thing too!
Scar Vittori Yep, i was making my way around since I flew there. My grandparents have family there and we needed to get around the city. I remember someone screaming Silverstein lyrics on the subway....
Hahahahahahaha! I wish I could have ear that! loool
im suspecting that paul marc wrote the guitar parts, sounds similar to stand amid the roar...
ewigersoleil Yep! Didn't even fully notice it until I had started playing it on guitar and realized that the parts are very similar.
!!!
TABS for the new Silverstein album on my channel :)
New tabs coming soon...
Think*
Correction it'll bring me down to haunt me. Not it. Very last line needs to be fixed. Thanks -Angel Told
If that breakdown was a car it would be totaled...
