Anyone who thinks this is a beartooth rip has only been listening to music since beartooth started (2-3 years) because Silverstein has been doing this for 12+ years now
I've only been listening since I was 15 (about four and a half years) but I love all their classic songs just as much as the earlier fans. :P Have all their albums including the early works, live album, transitions EP, etc and am going to see them live this year for the second time. :) Favourite album = Discovering The Waterfront
I see myself at :19 !!!! Haha. Another great song about Silverstein. Another song about California as well. This placement of this song is similar to Defend you on DTW. It gets the B-side off to a fast and amazing start. I think there song writing is getting better on every new album. I can't wait to hear this song live. I love the idea and the lyric "I Am Alive In Everything I Touch". Your choices, your conversations and your encounters with every person in your life has an effect on you and that person. Even if you die or lose touch with that person, you can still live on through them and their emotions/feelings. Job well done Silverstein.
Pumped my boyfriend bought side stage tickets for their tour this year! One of the best concerts of my life! Embarrassing I couldn't stand cause of a medical problem so their sound guy was nice enough to give me his seat on stage, great band, humble guys! Excited for the album.
some of you fail me silverstein have been around for a long time they are basically a godfather of post-hardcore music. Some of your wisdom of your own genre some of you like has me shaking my head
This is bound to be one of the best albums you guys will ever make. Judging from these two songs, you've really risen the bar high as fuck. Hoping you'll be on warped!
I listened to music that much until I discovered Silverstein's My Heroine when I was 9. And got addicted to the band when I bought the album along with A Shipwreck in the Sand. After all that time Silverstein still blows me away
I can't get over how fucken awesome Silverstein is!! Never have they once disappointed me and they never bore us by making the same music. Shane is a mad fucking genius!
I met them in Tampa years ago and Shane actually told me House of Blues was his favorite venue to play a show and this video is filmed there he wasn't kidding.. respect
Why is everyone making fun of people who don't know who Silverstein is? Honestly didn't see any comments from people saying that this sounds like Beartooth or this is their first time listening. Just because this is Rise Records, don't go jumping the gun and assuming everyone on here never listened to real music.
I wonder what all these venues are and if they are from recent shows. Can't wait to see them at wraped tour in Toronto. Were all so proud of our Ontario, Canada boys. Great job guys.
Why is everyone saying this is a ripoff of beartooth? Silverstein paved the way for beartooth so everyone can stop crying. I love beartooth and have no idea what song this one is "copying"
You know it's weird, usually bands get softer as their work progresses or at least stays similar. But Silverstein just got a lot more heavy and hardcore. Pretty legit. Wonder how long it will last.
This is fucking awesome, they've embraced the modern sound and put the classic Silverstein twist to it. I never really liked these guys much past When Broken Is Easily Fixed, but this is a massive step up
I want to know how tf the dude at 2:11 in the vid was able to stage dive at a silverstein concert. Been catching their shows since 2008 and every time there has been a barrier/security guards between the stage & crowd 😭😭😭
I would have loved to hear this without any breaks from the intensity and just the faster, "heavier" feel all the way through. Still an amazing song, sounds great.
I was thinkin' that Silverstein should headline with supporting acts from Beartooth...Silverstein gave birth to this genre it would only make sense for those who kept it alive by playing their own versions of it, be apart of Silverstein's ever growing popularity.
I love how I get a normal answer, then a some what sassy answer...like I'm sorry I didn't know that tour? But thumbs up to Javi for actually given me a good answer 👍
I see why this is the only album on iTunes by them that says metal and rock not just rock lol. They tried something new and I love it. I notices Shane's screams are a bit different too. Hope he's not losing his ability to do so.
We just need a tour of bands who always deliver in their music. My suggested lineup: Silverstein, Dance Gavin Dance, The Devil Wears Prada, The Ghost Inside
I saw Comback Kid and Silverstein open for Rise Against in 06. That was a fun show. Silverstein has always kicked ass live, but it seems in recent years the people they have opening for them are terrible. I think the last one was house like hands or something
Anyone who thinks this is a beartooth rip has only been listening to music since beartooth started (2-3 years) because Silverstein has been doing this for 12+ years now
*15 years
@@KartonRealista2 *20 years

I've only been listening since I was 15 (about four and a half years) but I love all their classic songs just as much as the earlier fans. :P

Add this to the list of like 100 Silverstein songs that never fail to disappoint. STILL GOING STRONG!
Leaving my mark as I've listened to this song's album
Silverstein's style is just so kick ass, I cant explain it in words. I absolutely can't wait for this album!
I see myself at :19 !!!! Haha. Another great song about Silverstein. Another song about California as well. This placement of this song is similar to Defend you on DTW. Silverstein never disappoint! They're just like wine. Better the more they age.
Silverstein just continues to deliver great music, I hope they never stop
This band goes way back! Forgot all about them for a while. Seeing them for the first time in June.
silverstein never disappoints me. damn their shit is always so good!!!
Pumped my boyfriend bought side stage tickets for their tour this year! One of the best concerts of my life! Embarrassing I couldn't stand cause of a medical problem so their sound guy was nice enough to give me his seat on stage, great band, humble guys! Excited for the album.
what i think really defines and completes a Silverstein song is the smooth and quick change from growling to soothing singing. this shit is so good.
some of you fail me silverstein have been around for a long time they are basically a godfather of post-hardcore music. Some of your wisdom of your own genre some of you like has me shaking my head

Such a consistent band. Such emotion in their songs. Most underrated band of all time!
Fifteen years later and they are still killing it. One of the most stellar bands that I'm glad to see haven't sold out
Discovering the waterfront is my all time favorite album these guys did.
They grow so much though throughout the years, but yes DTWF is one of their best for sure 👍
with When Broken Is Easily Fixed
I listened to music that much until I discovered Silverstein's My Heroine when I was 9. And got addicted to the band when I bought the album along with A Shipwreck in the Sand. After all that time Silverstein still blows me away
I'm so glad they have been together for so long I hope to see many more concerts in the coming years!!! they are by far my favorite live band
1:37 Pretty sure I see myself in the shot :D it was a great show
I can't get over how fucken awesome Silverstein is!! Never have they once disappointed me and they never bore us by making the same music. Shane is a mad fucking genius!
Nice powerful lyrics and just kick ass all together. Keep on rocking for at least another 15 years guys.
I met them in Tampa years ago and Shane actually told me House of Blues was his favorite venue to play a show and this video is filmed there he wasn't kidding.. respect
Shane Told you...
I'm pretty sure that this joke is annoying but I don't care. This one is just for your annoyment.
The fire still rages! !!!!! This is the best stuff they've put out and I love it!
Favorite band since high school and theyre still throwing down so many years later.

Something fresh and new from someone not so new but a little old. Silvestrein was and will be a perfect band
Never disapointing! You guys always over exceed my expectations!
Why is everyone making fun of people who don't know who Silverstein is? Honestly didn't see any comments from people saying that this sounds like Beartooth or this is their first time listening. silverstein is literally the best band ever
Damn, glad i got back into these guys. Great album
Woo! I'm so excited for this album! Silverstein has never disappointed me!
Can't wait to see you guys in plaza La Condesa, Mexico City!!!
Saw them live a couple of days ago and damn they were awesome. (also performed this song)
I love it, hardcore feels. Stray from the path meets Silverstein!
I wonder what all these venues are and if they are from recent shows. Can't wait to see them at wraped tour in Toronto. Were all so proud of our Ontario, Canada boys. Great job guys.
Been listening to these guys since they first came out in 2004, I was 17 I'm now 31 lol
I wish I could like this more than once this is so awesome it gave me chills
Can't wait to see them at Warped Tour this year. These 2 new singles they released are bad ass!
Best Silverstein song in a long time.
Silverstein never disappoints!👍
best song in the album ,,,
That bridge/breakdown part around 230 sounds exactly like the approaching curve by rise against
True! I love both though
Why is everyone saying this is a ripoff of beartooth? Silverstein paved the way for beartooth so everyone can stop crying. I love beartooth and have no idea what song this one is "copying"
I'm so glad this album is sounding the way it is!(:
Definitely gonna MOSH to this song!!!
You know it's weird, usually bands get softer as their work progresses or at least stays similar. But Silverstein just got a lot more heavy and hardcore. Pretty legit. Wonder how long it will last.
Im excited to hear the whole new album!
Gotdamn, how do the write so many good songs that sound fresh?
woow! toda esa onda retro del hxc! notable!
they made good music back then, and they still are capable of making good music now.
This is fucking awesome, they've embraced the modern sound and put the classic Silverstein twist to it. I never really liked these guys much past When Broken Is Easily Fixed, but this is a massive step up
Seattle!!!! I was at that show
I want to know how tf the dude at 2:11 in the vid was able to stage dive at a silverstein concert. Been catching their shows since 2008 and every time there has been a barrier/security guards between the stage & crowd 😭😭😭

Im so fucking pumped for this album to drop. Silverstein still has it, and this album is going to slay.

I'm crying this is so good!
I would have loved to hear this without any breaks from the intensity and just the faster, "heavier" feel all the way through. Still an amazing song, sounds great.

Never disappointed with this band
Part of this was filmed in seattle at El Corazon!!
I SAW MYSELF!!!!!
I will always say that Shipwreck in the Sand was their best album.
Jason LovesPWD , it wasnt hard enough for me.
As like as Short Songs was their worst...
I'd say DTW or TIHTWS is their best work.
I think rescue was their worst
Kiliab Gonzalez god, you hit the nail on the head... agreed 100%
this album is amaaaaaazing!
stoked for this album!
Holy shit Silverstein you never disappoint.
used to their mellow tones but i like this it's just so different
I was thinkin' that Silverstein should headline with supporting acts from Beartooth...Silverstein gave birth to this genre it would only make sense for those who kept it alive by playing their own versions of it, be apart of Silverstein's ever growing popularity.
Beartooth did....where have you been...?

I see why this is the only album on iTunes by them that says metal and rock not just rock lol. They tried something new and I love it. I notices Shane's screams are a bit different too. Hope he's not losing his ability to do so.

We just need a tour of bands who always deliver in their music. My suggested lineup: Silverstein, Dance Gavin Dance, The Devil Wears Prada, The Ghost Inside
I'd love too see Silverstein and The Devil Wears Prada on the same tour again.
I saw Silverstein and Bayside headline together a couple of years ago. I'd love to see that show again.
Dance Gavin Dance does not fit with these bands bro.
I saw Comback Kid and Silverstein open for Rise Against in 06. That was a fun show. Silverstein has always kicked ass live, but it seems in recent years the people they have opening for them are terrible. I think the last one was house like hands or something
