HOW TO MAKE A ETUI SEWING BOX PART ONE - Constructing the Lid

In this first of three part series we will take you through step by step on how to make one of our favourite projects - The Elsie Gray's Etui Sewing Box.
This gorgeous storage box will be a great addition to your sewing room and you will be addicted to making more.
In this episode (Part One) we will take you through all the requirements you will need to construct your box and begin with detailed instruction on how to make the lid.

Reminds me of boxes I made back in the late 80’s. I used poster board and fusible web to attach the fabric. I seem to recall hot glue was involved to add embellishments

This process is a lot different and a much better result than using hot glue 😊
