A beautiful quilt! While I used to do a lot of appliqué, I have a worsening tremor and would probably opt for machine stitching the peels down. That would mean only being able to use the papers once but it looks worth it because the quilt is so pretty
The quilt is gorgeous! Do you think you might offer it as a kit? Maybe with uncut fabric and papers and the yarn? The new Hibernation collection would be sooo sweet to fussy cut for this quilt.
Hi Shirley, As per the video you carefully cut the section of fabric behind the paper you want to move and pull it out. The cut in the fabric will be covered with wadding and the backing fabric. I hope this helps.😊
Gorgeous quilt. Thank you for sharing this wonderful demonstration
You are so welcome!
Lovely video! I would like to see more on the crochet edging patterns. I love crochet and quilting merging together, so interesting and gorgeous 😍
Your instructions are fantastic, thanks
You are welcome!😊
Love how your thrifted finds added a cozy Fall touch!
Great tutorial ❤
Thank you Meredith😊
Hi Elizabeth, I am new to quilting..my question is. Why are the papers necessary?
The papers are used to achieve nice neat corners. It appears like it’s more difficult but is much easier and effective than other methods.😊
Gorgeous quilt! Can you share the background fabric? It is sumptuous.
The background is a cotton/linen blend. 1.4mt wide 😊

Hi Jo thank you
Hi there do not stitch the melons down just use the glue to secure it to the fabric......
I tack glue them in place first and then stitch them down.
How do you get out your templates papers ?

Thankyou Jo I learned a lot about making the melons. You make it look so easy!
Thank you Jo for showing how to set the melons out. A great tutorial
Will you be showing how to do the big stitch quilting in part 2? Thanks
Hi Annette, Yes we are hoping to film part 2 which includes big stitch quilting in the next few days so keep an eye out for it's release very soon.😊
Beautiful quilt.
Thank you. Lovely tutorial.
This is beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful!
❤ just beautiful,
Beautiful quilt
My friend and I just discovered your video tonight. 🎉 I'm hooked already. I definitely need to make this quilt. Watching from Central Kansas.
Than you so much and glad to hear you enjoyed it. This is one of my all time favourites and Part 2 coming very soon.😊
Thankyou Jo, loving your video’s. This quilt is beautiful. So glad I found you 💖💙
Thank you so much!
Your shipping charge for the template and pattern is outrageous. I was going to buy until I saw the shipping charges of $25.00.
Hi Pamela,
If you are international that is the exact cost to us via Australia Post. Unfortunately we can't control the cost of shipping.
That's a reasonable charge for somewhere as far as Australia. Maybe somewhere in USA carries this pattern?
I don’t see a way to choose your currency, so I think the price is in Australian dollars. $25 AUD is only about $16 USD for example.
Love this channel!
Glad you enjoy it!
