Deep's gills are so well designed, they're so gnarly to look at. I've also never seen a human with gills where they're on the chest next to the lungs instead of the neck.
Its obviously just a movie, but I find them extremely sexy. Everything about him actually. Could be that he is a bit of an under-dog with big D energy....
That b*tch that fingered his gills deserved to have her fingers cut off and all her hair pulled out, though. Very upsetting scene for me. Haha. I also hate how every one of his sea friends he tries to save ends up with a such a messed up ending.

Apparently the actor for MM was in the makeup and effects trailer, and touched it and fucking jumped back in shock with his hand covered in some kind of lubrication, it's like a whole chestpiece that sits over his actual chest where they can do the makeup to make it look like an orifice.
Timothy definitely did not have kids, or he'd already be dead . The idea of an octopus lying is funny tho

Deep has the potential to be one of the most powerful heroes of them all. imagine commanding an army of sharks or piranhas. or having microbes eat through your opponent's armor. but because he's dismissed as a joke, we never really get to see that.
i think his character should end with either him dying while surrounded by his ocean buddies, kind of like noir, or self-exile himself to the ocean, swearing off humanity and being where he would be truly accepted.

9:32 I really appreciate Homelander accepting The Deep's hug. He certainly didn't like it much, but he didn't stop it. Then he talks very calm and collectively to ease Deep a tad. Kinda sucks when he goes back and bullies him for his gills.

Black Noir has a child like brain due to the head trauma from his injuries fighting soldier boy, at least its implied in subtext. Also childishly draws pictures at The Seven meetings.

Man I honestly felt so bad whenever any animal died in the Boys. Especially all of Deep's friends. Timothy, the dolphin, Lucy, like bruh they totally did not deserve it. I hope the Deep survives and has a good arc for once. The way he's been set up by the show implies that he will have a good arc.

I mean the difference though is Aquaman has the same powers but also has the super strength, durability, is basically bulletproof, has super hearing/sonar, even when on land, and then his marine telepathy itself is way way stronger than The Deep's, being able to affect not only sea creatures but also sea birds, and even humans at times. He also had a limited form of telekenisis. The fact is Aquaman just has a much much better and more varied power set than just the marine telepathy. while The Deep has like minor increased physical capabilities, no more than every other Supe has and can speak Spanish.

Deep down all of them in the 7 (not counting Stormfront for a lot of reasons) but the others are just broken and used for cop like crimes the deep still has a really cool /love connection with animals and he did help Maeve out by recovering that film in the ocean, a train I'm not too sure of he's always doing some dumb stuff I could tell he really liked Pop-claw but he still killed her, homelander may be evil but not all on him he was raised like a lab rat but he does have a connection with his son even tho we all know how he got a son anyways

omg the scene with the lobster though, the look on deep's face when the guy knives it it's too funny, also sad for the deep, but his expressions always make me laugh. And the octopus hookup, I mean the octopus was keen so I don't really care that he does that. But if it was with another type of animal I'd feel very weirded out, but octopuses are kind of like aliens so it wasn't that strange to me when he did that.

Also, I think he must have an astonishing high proportion of fast-twitch muscle. His muscles look soft, relaxed and loose, almost lank, even when flexed.

Its really hard to hate this guy
he annoyed me so much the first time I watched the show (besides I liked the thing with Starlight, don't hate me) but then now I just feel so bad for him, he's very dumb, but sometimes it's in a cute way, but I don't want him to be sad. His gills aren't exactly nice, they look weird, but it shouldn't matter if a person likes him, it's just a part of him and he should try to not hate it so much.
