This is what rally should be. Built your own beast of a car without any compliancy and rip it through forest trails. Not this dirt fish garbage you see on tv these days.

For some reason there isn't any Wikipedia page for Andy Burton, or for his cars. I want to know more about his old car; the Alfa Ferrari. A V8 RWD? How much power did it make? Is there no classes for different engines? Can a V8 run against a 4-cyl? Displacment limits? Is an 8 required to have RWD as handicap, or is it just run-what-ya-brung? I know WRC is limited to 300hp, but not much else. I've only ever seen 1 V8 rally car, an Escort. I'm sure there are others, but not many. I'm confused.
Never seen this car live, it must be something else to see and here, banning it is nonsense, however would be eligible for many rallys here in New Zealand............Dreams are free.
A Metro 6R4 engine!? I love it! He didn't turbocharge it, did he? That was the coolest thing about the 6R4. But this car is sick as hell the way it is. Cosworth....drool....
