One question I have, his computer on the 7450 takes him straight of the security stuff while my 7440 took me to a similar screen but with orange and was asking for a hard drive password. What did you do when you came across this?
It worked - nothing else I tried before, worked! But now, I have to figure out what to do next. I want to install a linux operating system on that computer. After choosing the option to restore defaults, I then hit F2. I see it looks like the last page you showed after the process was finished. But when I put in an installation CD, it won't run it. So now I have to figure out how to get it to do that.
