I used it exclusively in a new betta tank and it got covered in algae while the tank was establishing. I took it out and scrubbed it in the sink every time it built up. I kept putting it back and now I have been able to split the rhizome many times and use it in other builds. What an awesome plant.
honestly speaking, for how amazing it is, Anubis is very accessible n I'm all for it. Anyway thanks for your informative video, hope to see more of them in the future.
I built a wabikusa inspired terrarium after watching one of your videos and used Anubias Nana petite for it. It tuned out pretty good. Always excited to see your projects.
love the cheeky thumbnail with the chopstick lol~ but also, i've used anubias nana petite in my aquarium and they hold themselves really well. looking forward to try them in my first terrarium setup! Thank you for sharing about this lovely plant!
I searched in google and It says that anubias and zz is in the same family of plants ( araceae ) which also includes pothos, monstera, philodendron no wonder all these plants in the same family are so hardy it runs in there genes
Always like getting a glimpse of the propagation boxes. I noticed aqua soil in the one with traditional aquarium plants. Have you seen anubias propagation benefits when using aqua soil vs your substrate mix? Thanks.
Pretty similar results for me. But Aquasoil yields comparatively accelerated rooting and leaf production compared to terrarium substrate. Both emerged setups.
I have anubias in My Shrimp tank, Aquarium and a Terrarium . I has nana petitie but it so small In end it just disappeared, I have golden nana and barteri. 🙂 it fairly easy to grow
Anubias Nana petite is one of my favorite plants and I too use them in closed terrarium builds. I also grow it in all my planted tanks. I have about four grow out tubs with it too. I may even try some in my outside ponds.
Anubias nana and petite are my favourite plants! Can you pls share a video on how you clean the sponge off the tissue culture plant. I ordered the same from TC cup from Sreepadma, but damaged all the roots in the process. Great work! Thank you for inspiring us, always.
All thanks to you, your videos inspired me to do one, all started with some Anubias and Java fern cuttings from my planted tank , it was just an experiment but came out so well
I understand it grows slow, but does it grow large? If I were to put it in a closed terrarium and let it run wild, will it fill the entire container and choke out other plants?
Similar results but growth can be slightly faster than Anubias and you can expect blooms. They are way more expensive here than Anubias so I don't buy them that much. I love the plant.

Yes maybe if I build large enclosures in future
I understand it grows slow, but does it grow large? If I were to put it in a closed terrarium and let it run wild, will it fill the entire container and choke out other plants?

Same size and colour as the petite but the leaves are narrower and longer.
Can we propagate it?
Yes but better submerged with co2 injection. They are very slow growers.
Most of the plants you use are aquatic plants. Can you make more videos on building square glass vases? i find it very beautiful but too few videos
