For years I've had an OSK-6 in my basement that I've decided to play around with today. My curiosity led me to your great video. Thanks for posting it!
@@donbrown5414 it does power on and the green dot does appear for a moment about 20% of the times that I power it. I do not have a manual and have not been able to find one online
@@zachd4410 It seems like its fairly healthy, did you adjust the "vertical position", if the beam was there and drifted down or up you should be able to re centre it vertically. Without the manual it will be tough to fix, I have also searched the internet without any success. I have a few other videos on this channel where I am working through problems on a 1959 Tektronix scope, the Tektronix scopes are well documented on the internet. That scope you have is pretty rare, a real treasure! How did you find it?
@@donbrown5414 It is one from my school which my physics teacher let me borrow for a project that I am working on. He said that he hasn’t been able to get it working for years but that I could try. I am wondering if this could be from when Stark supplied Ontario schools with scopes and it somehow made its way to Alberta within the 60+ years later haha

Thanks for your comment and feedback.
What an amazing find!
The oscilloscope is in great shape, considering its almost 60 years old.
I have an osk-3 and Cannot figure out how to get it working. Is there a way that I can contact you if you’re able to help?
Does it power on, and do you have a manual?
