I’ll see if my mate lets me out in it in a dry day and do a few draggy 100-200 times ….if alls right bhp wise he should hit flat 6 maybe just dip into the 5’s

Enter about the package you’ve given him ….. he brought it down to gym yesterday I Personal train him …. I’ve seen some cars he’s brought on over last few years as you can imagine lol but yes he loves an m car …..

@@phillynarrowstraight on a dyno dynamics dyno yes. I had a n/a c63 which read 52bhp less after I fitted long tube manifolds on the very same dyno purely on how the stupidly tight the straps where. I’m sure it was because I didn’t use that same garage for my work yet on dragy it was consistently quicker 100-200kph. I moaned at the garage got another run allowing the car to get up on to the roller and all was as expected.
@@E63s_Scott am I right in thinking dyno dynamics don’t have an eddy brake or whatever it’s called? So the resistance is fixed to the weight of the roller? If so I can see how that’d make sense
Looks amazing, but doesn't a lip spoiler like this one, coupled with the lowering springs, make the car underivable on anything, but a racetrack? And even then, does it clear curbs, etc?
I've got an IOMG G80 M3 with AutoID goodies, full Remus race exhaust and springs/spacers. Similar to the work in this video, without the Stage 2! Those changes absolutely transform the car. So much more of an aggressive presence - the splitter and rear lip really help square off the front and back of the car. The exhaust for me is a must-have. These G8X's are so quiet out of the box and if loud noises make you smile (like me), the Remus is awesome - both in looks and sound. Hell of a car in this video, beauty!
Unfortunately you do get rubbing when lowering with some setups. Modification of the inner liners may be necessary. RKP make a solution that looks really nice.
A little confused here.. Stock the rwd g80s are rated at 480bhp On your stock run you guys got 543 whp? From the US so is this a metrics difference or is BMW severely underrating these cars??
Only the front roller is reading power, the rear one is adding extra resistance. We let the car climb on to the front roller to give a more accurate reading. This is the same way we have dyno’d every car for over 10 years.
To give you bullshit figures basically, hence why the car is strapped down much tighter in stock form than it is after it's had the mods lol couldn't be more blatant. The Dyno expects there to be resistance on the car from the rear roller and calculates the BHP accordingly. Without it, ya get an inflated figures. At least strap it consistently if it's not for some bullshit 🤷
Not a lover of green cars I have to admit but the mods on this are sweet as!👌 I’m guessing the the cars warranty has gone out the window now as when that hits bmw for a service the “tuning manipulation “ will pop up & the car will be made aware to BM & the warranty void🤔
£12k remember ecu has to be se t over to Finland… only place this 2022 car can have ecu opened currently to then tune… tbh as imran said all carbon bits the intake the whole exhaust system not needed for stage 2 and stage 2 power levels but this is a premium package not just about power ….

no that’s actually very dangerous
yes to allow the tyre to get up onto the roller and not have the suspension cranked down killing the power.
