Swiftly we go! This video is for fans of quick, supersonic page turning. (Hey there, Ivah! 🤗)
First, we flip over pages in a pile, thus forming two stacks of paper. No rhyme of reason to it. Just random, really. Some pages are water-damaged and crinkly for a more interesting auditory experience.
When that's done, we're looking up recipes in two cookbooks, crossing out, with ballpoint pen, the recipes on my list. You could call this "purposeful page turning". 🙂
Man, this video made me hungry while filming. 🥐🥝🥞🍕
Thank you for being here. Take good care of yourself - ❤ Kat

Okay I had to immediately comment after only a minute because I severely underestimated this video!!! Normally I dont prefer fast page turning, however, the way this is done is brilliant! The different textures of the paper, the alternating sides, it's absolutely genius and my brain is exploding with tingles. Thank you so much for your creativity!!

I usually listen to your videos when I'm working (specially when I'm programming as I'm a developer) or when I'm reading a scientific book or a book that is not an easy read and requires me to pause sometimes to try to understand it better. Pausing can easily distract me, but with the help of your videos and hearing the sounds of books and pages and such, I'm constantly reminded in those pauses that I'm reading or working and can focus on what I'm doing. Sometimes I even open several of your videos and listen to all at the same time🤓One other thing I sometimes do when I work or read is to spray *Whispers in the Library* perfume (by Maison Martin Margiela) on myself to feel like I'm in a real library.
    Anyway thanks for the help🤎😇

    • @PoisabloomASMR

You're an intriguing person, maryamnn. 🙂 You must be great at processing many stimuli at once. Is that like compartmentalizing or are all the sounds around you brought into harmony in your brain, like a symphony?
I had no idea there was a perfume on the market that smells like paper and waxed wood. When you're wearing it, do people around you automatically start grabbing books? 😀

Thanks for your comment and kind words!😇
The main reason I end up doing several things at once is because I can't do it another way😅have this constant feeling that I'm running out of time to do things I love, so I have to do several of them at the same time. It's as if a part of my brain is not used for processing, other parts can't focus on the function or task they are supposed to do because they are worried I'm not using my full potential. 🤣
Sometimes I feel frustrated with myself that I find it so hard to focus on a single task at hand. Occasionally I force myself to sit and do one single thing and enjoy it, for example drinking a cup of tea, maybe I do it for a minute, but it's like something is missing, I end up bringing a book, calling someone to talk to or something else.
Sometimes I go to extreme, once I was in a work meeting, but wanted to attend an online funeral for a relative, I ended up joining both, one earbud in my right ear connecting to my work laptop and hearing German conversations and occasionally taking notes or say something myself, the other in my left ear listening to people saying stories in Farsi about the deceased at the funeral. It's actually not difficult to hear and process both streams because they are different languages, and to be fair Farsi is my mother tongue, so it might be more difficult if it was another language. I find it a bit more difficult if both ears are hearing both, but when each ear focuses on a different source, it gets easier. Thanks to internet, I could be in three places at once (the 3rd being my home as I was doing home-office).
There are however few things that I CAN do on its own without any effort and the feeling that I need to do something else in parallel. One of them is talking to friends. I'm so much at the moment, and feel so refreshed afterwards. Having a conversation with some people is like taking a breath of fresh air, specially artists (in my experience), and some people are so calm inside and outside that when I talk to them, their energy emanates and surrounds me too for some time. I see this type of people as patient and non-judgmental.
no, the sillage of the perfume is not good, so haven't had a comment from others. It has good longevity though, but I imagine the candle would be better to purchase. However, I feel like the candle is very expensive and I still have this whole bottle to go through. Next time I may go for a candle or another perfume that smells more like paper. I also sampled the perfume Paper by Commodity but wasn't what I was looking for.

    • @sergiogarciagiron8049
      @sergiogarciagiron8049 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Yeah. Almonds are the main dry fruit grown in the province of Malaga. There are various recipes that are made with them, from cold soups such as ajoblanco to sauces to accompany such as almond sauce, very typical for preparing meatballs. And very rich, by the way😋

Hi Kat! 😊 This fast-paced page turner was fun to watch! As you probably can guess, I don’t get any ASMR effect from fast page-turning. But that’s ok because there a lot of viewers here that do and it makes me happy that you’re getting such a positive response 🙂. That means you’re helping make people’s lives better, and that’s what’s important. Nicely done!
Take care! ❤ p.s. I do have to say I did find the video surprisingly relaxing. The sounds of paper rustling are great for falling asleep to. Thanks! ☺️😴
