I picked up a 550 Nighthawk that sat for 20 years. My first bike. Did all the repairs myself with the help of TH-cam videos. Runs awesome now. It was not difficult finding parts (gaskets, jets, turn signals) on AliExpress. Parts are common to other, more plentiful Hondas.
Good video. She sounds much better after the carbs got rebuilt. I bought a used one in 1984 with 200 miles. Mine was burgundy. I kept it for one year than bought a 1985 Kawasaki Eliminator 900.
The carb is easy to remove and fix. Plenty of TH-cam video's on how to take out and clean the carbs. Do it yourself, at least you'll know how to do it when it fouls up again. I went 4 years between carb cleanings...

I still have mine.. Bought ot in 2013 and fixed it. Easy to fix, sounds awesome, and unfortunately parts are becoming rare....
I have this bike too. Turn signal snapped. No idea how to fix that.
