Very sound advice Anthony. I actually insure my Classic motorcycles and vehicles with Hagerty along with using their invaluable valuation tools when I'm in the market. The beauty in the hunt is you can say no and walk away. For many, their want and need urges can often push them over the edge. For those who have this tendency, I tell them......take only the cash with you that you intend on spending and leave the checkbook at home. At the very least, you'll have to walk away at least temporarily, which gives the would be buyer time to rationalize and not impulse buy. I'm as frugal as they come, so my collection has been acquired for pennies on the dollar for very nice examples. My children also know the value of bargain hunting, so it's an excellent tool to pass on to the younger generation. Cheers! Zip~

Agreed, most people get emotionally attached and can make bad decisions.
Super valuable, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching.
@@motorcyclerewind Subscribed from Australia. Big time collector here of the big 4 Japs.
how did you take the engine off the frame ?
I haven’t removed the engine in my 550 but imagine it would be like any other honda 4. Wrestling it in.
I've done it. You can slide it back and tilt about 20 degrees forward, and it will slide out.
Technically this Honda is worth over $7000. There is no reliability of this caliber sold today.
SOLD!!!! To me the CB550 is the perfect size motorcycle.
