- Riding my Gixxer with my new Microphone Zoom H4n.
It sounds so much better than the H1n.
The high speed part was a pain, because the GoPro on the gas tank was a bit mounted too high and I can´t put my head behind the windshield.

Love the '98 SRAD750. I had a 98 SRAD 750 and a 2006 R1. The 750 was more fun to ride and I prefer the 750s over the Liter bikes.

I have a 1996 gsxr 750 I took the stock exhaust off and put a full titanium system on with a hindle can that thing sounds awesome I have some videos of it on hear

Beautiful machine and great piece of footage. I have the 750 also, with a leovince exhaust and altered gearing to improve torque. Can I ask if you are still using the factory steering damper? It's one point im not happy about on my bike
I have a 1996 750 I installed a gpr damper on mine I have some videos on hear u can see it on the cold start video I have posted
This one only pulls like my 600 SRAD; maybe you should check the engine? Normally, SRAD models get disproportionately wild from 8.5-9K; here it looks more like a fairly linear power delivery.
But finally a SRAD video in a contemporary quality :)
Agree, another 750 owner here and I was wondering why it seemed a bit down on power. Awesome video though! And I see the bike corrupts anyone it touches, it's not just me..
It could be a bunch of things, but I cleaned the tank, filter, and changed the fuel pump on mine. That fixed the drowning/stuttering issues mine had, and renewed the top end of the powerband.

Hi mate how is teh throttle response? Is it laggy & is the bike reliable?
My SRAD is the first version with injection. So the throttle response is very very good.
I have this bike over 4 years now and I rode it about 10 thousand kilometers. There was nothing to repair except normal services. Overall it has 28 thousand kilometers on the clock.
@@EdelwiseEntertainment thats some great info. I saw a 1997 cafe racer gsxr 750 for 2500.- I will be testing it. BTW does it have a choke? What is the black lever on the left side?
This lever acts like a choke bit it only turns the idle a bit higher for cold temperstures.

That is the reason why I love superbikes from the 90s.
I've had a 1996 SRAD for 2 years now apparently it's good for 168 standard although I have a Viper exhaust I'm not sure if it gives it much more power as I haven't had the chance to give it full speed ahead..( although I did hit 140 on the A316 towards Sunbury and that was screaming in third Gear)
Most non-racing exhausts usually take away 2-3hp if so. 140 on an almost 30 year old bike is still impressive
@@halo-7797 Definitely, i just bought another bog standard Gixer 750 97. They getting rarer and appreciating in value. You got plenty power for the roads and they still so much simpler n easy to work on than ur modern cyber machines!
Yours looks identical to mine as far as speed... I cannot get more than 246 kph out of my bike and that is at redline. I can't figure it out. The manual says 264 kph top speed, but even if I pull the mirrors in tight, I can only get 246, and I have owned the bike for 20 years. Pirelli Diablo Super Corsa SP V4's, stock gearing, K&N air filter, Vance and Hines muffler cut down to 7 inches.
Umm I did 240 with only slightly over 10k with plenty to go on when I pulled back on trotle.
Maybe check compression, then valve clearances? The stubby exhaust may not be helping?
1997 750 srad I have my eyes on one, are this have carburetor ?
I think after 1998 the 750 have Injection. The one in the video has Injection.

Why the high range is so week? hardly to get 260...
yeah was wondering the same, it is over 10years since i drove the one i had. but it did pull ALOT harder than this one.
I've got the 600 SRAD and it will do 255 on a good day, so this struggling for 260 is strange
I bought the same bike only different color just a few weeks ago. Did 240 with just over 10k and almost shit my self cause after 10k the bike went berserk like I'm hitting on nitro so I backed off on trotle with plenty to go on.

Anyone else here with a 1999 750 an have the issue with the bike jumping and stalling when put in gear ? ...had new clutch plates in but still jumps
Check your safety switch on your kickstand. Mine would flop down for a split second when I hit a compression bump on the highway ... stop the engine cold for a second .. scared the shit outta me because I lost ALL power to the back wheel while in a turn.
