Thank you to all my Patrons!
Alex doesn't get enough love, he's one of the best guitarist of all time and everyone looks by him....
I agree Alex I think is the best hands down for me anyway I love him❤😊
He's great. Just overshadowed.
He's clearly one of the most versatile guitarists in rock. 🎸🪨
Holy cow!
Another awesome bass sound HENRIK LINDER from the Swedish trio DIRTY LOOPS.
At 5:35 Neil hits those two triggers. He does it as part of the song, but I suspect he did it to see if they were set to the correct sound for his drum solo right after this song ended. Those two triggered sounds were integral during the beginning part of his solo.
It was 6/4
Man, quit pausing the track
Geddy is triggering the synth sound with his feet at the same time murdering that bass. This dude is epic...
Been listening to this song for YEARS and every time that end solo comes on I have a Wayne and Garth 'we're not worthy' moment!' 😲😳😱
Geddy's awesome! (Those other 2 guys are pretty alright, too. 😁🤣)
A symphony of three. Great reaction!!!
That was fuckin' brilliant. Lifelong Rush fan xx
Great reaction!! I never get tired of this amazing instrumental!! When I first heard Counterparts album, and this played...jaw was officially on the floor - just love the groove!
Geddy just going bonkers on bass, Alex doing what Alex does best and making the guitar sing, and Neil - RIP Neil - constantly astounding us with precision masterclass in percussion! This was such an amazing live rendition of the song!
Geddy is a beast!!!
Thanks for getting more Rush on the Channel. I am always amazed at these 3 virtuoso musicians. Geddy impresses every time. That is a really fun instrumental. Glad you noticed the 12/8 over Neil's 4-4 beat.
I think his style is more flamenco at times and he picks hard. He also his nails a lot. Crazy. My son plays bass and has tried to get the tone but it’s not as easy as you would think. Geddy also tucks his pinky in most of the time on his left hand. From what I hear, that is unusual as well.
The coolest fill by Neil
Now you need to watch Where's My Thing.
Monsters
Try Rush, Working Man 2011 in Cleveland. A reinterpretation of the original from their first album in 1974. Used as final encore after 3hr show... Bear that in mind ... :)
Neil learnt traditional grip from his child hood drum Teacher., Then with the great Freddy Grubber ,, later in life he re tooled his playing technique with Both Freddy and Jazz great Peter Erskine
RUSH.....NONE better....few as good
Picked a good one.
"Rush" Definitely one of the best "Old Progresif" & The Tone Bassist always remember me about "Bondan" my favorite bassist Wave hhe...
I was on the floor center for this for free!! Thanks for my brother in law! I bought the books and shirts. 😊😢 RIP Neil Peart! 😢
