Mohg is such a fucking epic boss it absolutely blew me away when i fought him
Elden ring needs to put in more Mohg Lord of Blood spells in the game. The downward BloodBoon that comes down like Magic Pour is so COOL. Also being able to throw Blood with Mohgs spear is so badass idk why they didn't put that in the game.

@@narommalagonmorales2663That certainly didn't stop them from adding a lot of the other meta spells, incantations, and ashes. Besides, despite the fact that it is significantly weaker and nerfed than the boss version, they allowed the player to use Waterfowl Dance, which is probably one of, if not the, most OP boss moves in the entire game. The reason they didn't add more Mohg moves wasn't because they would be broken; it's probably as simple as they didn't have enough time left in development to do so or that they just didn't feel like it.
@@TheRedWolvesFTW the reason the didn't added Mogh moves is because it's a status effect, and it causes zoning, it's an almost unavoidable bleed build up, for the love of god, you only need to thing this through for 2 seconds, also the fact that it wasn't even his signature ability make it even less likely to even be an idea.
@@narommalagonmorales2663 I mean, they did add Mohg moves; in fact, there's a whole section of incantations called "Blood Incantations" dedicated to them, albeit there are only four of them, most of which are, just like every other boss move able to be used by the player, less damaging, smaller area of effect versions of the moves he does in the fight. I'm unsure why you are so vehement about this; I could see the move pretty easily-a temporary effect that makes your attacks on the sacred spear spill out very little amounts of blood flame. It would be a nice harassing move, especially if you are going against multiple people alone, but at the end of the day, all they have to do is get in your face and start hitting at you, so you can't just keep swinging or even just wait until the move ends. This will probably be my last comment, as arguing about a very specific theoretical situation, which should've been quite simple, is starting to feel stupid.

Did anyone got the full video? it's fascinating and hilariously funny, watching Asmon fighting some of the best ER bosses. He's face at the end, after he found out he could use the Shackles, was the best part.
Also you can see his PTSD return when he encounters him again in the sewers 😆

Im on episode 15 though and he hasnt fought against mogh yet so its somewhere after part 15
alright i've been watching more of the playthrough and i've found out that he fights Mohg at part 21. the fight start around 12 min in :)
The tear doesn't make fight shorter. He still heals, but you don't waste heals on this stupid attack

@@AbyssDark i dont think i was since i was spoiled on this boss and i knew that i needed to brak to negate that. I had that tear but didnt read what it did do on my first playthrough i didnt use it.
Technically, it does make the fight a bit shorter if you deal enough damage. Generally speaking, if you have that tear, you don't waste time chugging flasks to survive... instead you take that short window to continue attacking him. I've even tried in one run using bleed procs to whittle down his HP to around 20% just as he was finishing his Nihil animation.
I think you can stagger him out of it if you do enough guard break damage.

And if you are actual chad you went int+Dex in preparation for it. Weapons selection ain't modest and some bosses that you can kill with laser will feel divine :D
@@THELORDVODKA i was playing mage my first playthrough. My brother beaten him and he was like:"Wait until you see how cool boss is." Since he died in less than a 10 seconds I couldn't experience him until second playthrough.

Asmongold needlessly making shit worse for himself is classic entertainment at its best.
He didn’t need the thing to negate it, I doubt most people knew about it when they first fought him either and still won. You’re not “supposed” to fight him with it, it’s just an easy option if you find it.
I still think an impossible to dodge move that does high damage is pretty dumb. Also I may not be speaking for most but I had found the cracked crystal before I fought him.
@@feudalocean8428 Yeah its one of the worst boss moves in the game imo. There should be a way to negate it thats in the base kit or at least with normal consumables.
I think you are supposed to fight him with that since there's no way to avoid that attack.

Same here. I didn't find out about the tear until I randomly watched a video, and by that time I had beaten the main game and was on my way to Mallenia

literally my 1st playthrough. This boss is the only boss in the game that made me rage quit. I even used the increase bleed defense talismans and still sucked at it. Died 17 times.
There's a physik that protects you from that

I’m a below average Elden Ring player, and Mohg was the one boss I actually managed to mow down in 10 seconds. Match made in heaven … I should marry him.

That's the best part, Asmon malding is what gives me life, the man just finds a busted pve weapon, (Vordt's hammer in ds3, Golden Halberd, etc...) ooga boogas through the entire game and when he encounters a roadblock to his "playstyle" he complains and throws himself at it until he gets lucky instead of adapting, his chat gives him genuine advice, and he just ignores them and continues to complain, I hope the Elden Ring dlc is 5x harder than base game, I hope there's a boss that puts Bed of Chaos rage to shame, so I can watch and laugh as he malds even harder

Sad asmon was too powerful even though he didn’t farm and just played like you should, like exploring and killing field bosses makes you overlevele in a sense , all bosses should’ve had 30% more hp at least , some exepctions. Like malkeith should have another health bar for 2nd phase , elden ring is a best game of all time type shit but too easy

He’s wrong about the flask negating the whole move…. It only negates the damage, the boss still heals
It basically saves you a couple charges of your heal and gives you a chance to land a few more hits
True. I think Mohg healing isn't a big deal and the main reason why that move sucks balls... it's the big damage it deals to the player, almost always forcing you to chug flasks just to survive instead of using that opportunity to hit him while he's stationary.

@@newbnooby6438 oh no. Im happy he's not doing that. But I personally prefer to but up in the action. Dodging strikes right in mohgs face. I personally fine it alot more enjoyable and it feels more heartpounding. Knowing that there's no room for mistakes and that I've beaten him going toe to toe. But again Its just my preferred way of doing it.
@@nono-lz9qr fighting toe to toe. Is the way I did it. Dodging attacks and staying in his face..that's how I played it. But again it just my preference. I found it far more enjoyable and heartpounding to play that way. Also made me feel like a beast after winning that way. Because I didn't run away .I stood and fought head-on.
@@kirkcobain093 Tbh, I agree with you. I found the best way to fight most ER boss is to roll into the boss, Mohg esp. so coz his atk animation is so easy to punish if you are close.
Its just I find Asmon's way is kinda interesting since he uses sprint alot, and I find openings that I usually dont see through his way.
