    Looks awesome 👍! Im in New Zealand andI've just purchased a 69 c10, I just wish all of this stuff was available off the shelf here. Shipping from USA to NZ is pretty expensive! Guess I'll just have to start saving 😂.

    Awesome work! Why did you choose two tanks versus one? Trying to bag a 1964 c10, but I have the same challenges. It's a step side, and the gas tank is relocated to the rear. Your help is truly appreciated

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  ปีที่แล้ว

      One 5 gallon tank won’t fit behind the seat. I had to use two. A stepside that has a mini notch and gas tank in the rear is a challenge. The only option is either in the bed or behind the seat. Two 2.5 gallon tanks fit nicely there.

    Hello sir, I have a 71C10 that I just put bags in the front this weekend. I have porterbuild upper and lower control arms and 2 1/2 drop spindles. My goal is to put the fenders about at the edge of the rims. I have 255 45 20 on the front. I have not got a control system yet I am just filling the bags with shop air for now. My question is about aligning the truck. I ran it up to a friends shop and set up the alignment machine on it. I set it at 65psi where I thought it looked like good driving ride height. I set the alignment then raised and lowered the bags and set it back to 65psi the alignment was way out... What are you doing to align your trucks? I understand it wont be dead on but I dont want to buy 500$ tire every 500 miles either. I would Greatly Appreciate your ideas on this. Thank you for your time.

      I’ve never had a truck aligned. I measure it the best I can and set it. I need to find a shop that does it locally but I haven’t yet. My trucks drove straight and seemed to be fine but I haven’t put a ton of miles on any of my trucks.

      Thanks for getting back to me. By finding Bleu, I found your TH-cam channel and you have new subscriber. I got my eye on a few other C10's and now I know where to start with upgrades 😁. I thought you were the one selling because it had your video listed with it. He texted me that he sold it a few weeks ago.

    Hey beautiful truck. Have a question. I have a 1968 c10 stepside. And i love the stance on your truck. Love it. I wanted to try coilover kit instead of air ride. Is it possible to have coilovers on truck with this stance and still drive it with no rubbing problems?

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The front would need to be higher than this truck. It was sitting right on the inner fenders. You could get close.

    Question- after building your trucks do you keep them or sell them and then start on a whole new project?

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I build them the way I like them then put a big price tag on em. After they sell, I look for my next project. I currently have two trucks so I plan to keep one and drive while I work on the other one.

    I was wondering, did you have to install a dropped cross member for the trailing arms so there wouldn't be any drive shaft clearance issues?

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not on a mini notch. You only do that on a large step notch.

  • @Josh-gy2tq
    @Josh-gy2tq 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Would those rear shock relocation mounts work if you do a large notch in the back? And would you recommend a mini notch or a large notch like you did on black dice?

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on how low you want to go. If you aren’t going all the way down you don’t need a big notch. The relocation brackets will work with a large notch but they aren’t at the best angle on the application.

  • @gerrysayong1530
    @gerrysayong1530 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    What is the overall height of your front tires and rears ? I want the same rake look but I didn’t want to do the air ride. I’m more of a static guy. I want to know how much drop I can do without doing the bags. I have a 71 c10 stepside. Thank you .

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can go with a 4-6 drop and it will look good. My front wheels and tires were about 27 inches tall.

    Quick question did you empty your gas tank before cutting the frame for the c notch

    • @SIMPLE.C10

      No I didn’t. I unhooked the gas lines from the tank inside the cab.

    What did you have to do with the front fenderwells?

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I left inner fenders but it touched them when I was all the way down. I planned to go with mild slosh tubs that give you two more inches without moving the battery.

    Is this the same way 63 stepside was built?

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. This truck only has a mini notch. I encourage you to go back and watch the building on a budget and the Bleu build. The main differences is the blue truck doesn’t have cut fenders, a monster notch, or raised bed floor. It’s more of a mild bagged build. It only took a weekends to bag the blue truck.
