At 12:56, I laughed too at that line. I was 10 before I heard of getting food (other than home) from Kentucky Fried and how the chicken tasted. It was different than what I had and never went to a restaurant before either.

I have volunteered at many events serving my community, and I have always felt blessed by it as much as the people that we were tryng to bless. I love being able to witness God at his work, it's a delight! It's obvious that Bishop Martin has seen some heavy lifting on God's part, and I think he is so fortunate to be in the middle of it, and gets to take it all in.
Mike you have just made the best interview ever hands down. This man of God was allowed to plead his case or should I say Gods case of the need for service to the less fortunate that our society has been sweeping under the carpet for so long. Our government is so intent to bolster itself that they think they are wiser than God. Not only do they believe that murdering millions of innocent children is a right but that the children that are born are a burden to be treated like cattle. I pray that this message and story reaches the whole world and the world picks up the Bible and reads and learns the truth it is the most accurate GPS ever made and will never lead you wrong. As the mom of foster and adopted children - this touched me so deeply. So many things that Bishop Martin said are things I thought/came to realize, as well!! ❤️ And Proverbs 3:5&6 are the 1st verses I ever memorized and remain my favorite verses with Isaiah 41:10 now added to it!
I have a dear friend that went inpatient to get off of alcohol 20 years ago and he’s never had another drink but they wouldn’t let him and his wife adopt. That’s foolish to me that’s one child that would have had The best momma and daddy ever. She could not have children.
If you have lost your cool or almost not bearing your suffering you can hum or sing silently amazing grace and see if you can resume your grace. It is special………among all the hymns on songs ever written

There's a family in our church who answered the call from a local group to foster children in our area (Northern Virginia just outside the beltway). They're fostering 3 children, two of whom are 2-3 years old who need therapy several times a week, and one is a newborn. Our church has gathered up to provide them meals a few times a week. This weekend is my turn. This conversation is timely, and I know my contribution is small, but it's encouraging to know I can contribute my small part to help. No, it's not taking in a child, but it's supporting a family who can. Now I'm wondering if I can talk my husband in to taking in a child or two. ❤
I can not find a theater near me that is showing this movie. 😢 The nearest theater that is showing it is an hour away if Houston traffic is not congested.
Like all "do good" ideas brought out by society, all that are not founded on Godly principles, are flawed and doomed to fail. Possom Trot is the proof that Godly principles as the foundation will always build to success.
Years ago I fostered a teenager in northern California. The agency wanted me to embrace LGBT ideology. I refused because of my Christian faith. The agency backed down then. They don't now.
As much as I love you Mike Rowe and your programs all over TV I believe you make enough money to do without these freaking commercials I wanted to listen to this man so and all I got was ads I pray to Jesus that you can give it a break I guess that's all I got to say❤
After so much struggles I now own a new house and my family is happy once again everything is finally falling into place, $32,000 of weekly profits from my investment. I just paid off my mortgage 7 months ago and am returning 20% of my weekly interest to Charity. People should learn to invest more and spend wisely!!!!

Here's a novel idea...God says take care of the children and the elderly...why not have facilities that house them both together??? The elders need care and the children need proper raising without abuse or drugs...the elders can pass on wisdom...such an easy fix to some major downfalls of society...the time old equation...good versus evil...GOD HELP OPEN PEOPLES EYES!!

I lived near Possum Trot 50 years ago in a trailer in the piney woods. It was some of my happiest times.
Many mornings i just do not want to get up .But the split second,the blink of an eye i wake. I thank God for this Day.🍞🍷to the 🌎
