There was a time when we just knew things without knowing how to explain things. Now we actually need to be somewhat intelligent to explain about gender. This is just stupid. The fact that Matt needs to express in an eloquent manner about gender shows how gone the west is. We wonder why our societies are literally collapsing economically, socially, politically and most importantly morally.
I have never heard of a trans male athlete who succeeded in making any male sports team...that in itself speaks volumes.

As you know, watching a delayed broadcast of a game *where you already know the outcome* isn't the same as when you do not know.
Likewise I always think about Dash in the Incredibles. His winning or placing is pretty much a done deal (unless some evil bad guy shows up). Yeah the first few times that he's getting trophies will be great. But after a while, it will just be too boring. There is no actual challenge or achievement. Pretty sure the parents will be bored out of their minds too.
So unless the individual is really a misogynist (which I believe is a real possibility) then his enjoyment over time can only be derived from his ability to humiliate his female counterparts in something that they love to do and not from his actual winning.
Or Could be low self esteem. Needs to win at something and get praised for it

Make no mistake, "Non-binary" was invented by the elites (as Matt spoke about) as a way of moving us even farther away from the reality of male and female. "Transgenderism," which is the idea of transitioning from one sex to the other, is already starting to become a thing of the past, as "non-binary" takes hold.

It’s insane people can’t see how wrong this is. I ran track in high school and college. At 15 years old I was already faster than the fastest female in the world in my event. Men should not under any circumstance be allowed to compete against women in sports.

Agreed. It's asinine to suggest there are no physiological difference between the sexes. Even amongst supposed candid discussion, the points I most commonly hear are that males have higher testosterone. While that is true, that is only one of MANY traits that lend men superior physical performance. As an MRI technician, it's my job to understand and recognize physiology. Males have higher counts of fast-twitch muscle fibers, more dense bones, a more narrow pelvis in tandem with more broad shoulders, more distal tendon attachment points on the long bones by large muscle groups like the biceps, quadriceps, triceps and hamstrings (which creates more favorable leverage in terms of physics), etc, etc. No one ever addresses any of these things, though any dunce can innately recognize these traits at a glance.
When a man comes to a doctor and says I cant have children, the doctor should examine his brain. Pure gold.

There’s one thing that’s always stood out for me that isn’t talked about nearly enough and that is: why are these men so willing to go into women’s sports knowing they will dominate and take opportunities away from real women?
It’s so selfish and it says so much about them as individuals.
I have been saying the same thing just like women are transitioning and competing with men.
If they don't women will take home income and honors they don't deserve.
Just as an example, male professional golfers should be demanding access to LPGA golf tournaments, and the millions of dollars in prizes and prestige at stake.
Unless women can compete and beat men in no discriminatory contests, they don't deserve the income or honors.
Women have been promoting non discrimination in values and law now for many decades. It's time they got what they wanted.

" That answers your question. These men are willing to go into women's sports knowing they WILL DOMINATE and WIN. Winning is EVERYTHING to them, they MUST win at any cost.
Thomas has stated that he fully intends to enter the next Summer Olympics, where he will "break existing records, setting new ones" which of course he knows fully well WILL NOT be broken unless OTHER males pretending to be females follow his lead. IF he is allowed to do so, you know damn well that is exactly what will happen.

Deviate from God's law and all you have is what the Bible calls "everybody doing what is right in their own eyes". Lord knows, I am no feminist (ungodly bunch of know nothings). What I will say is grounded in God's law. All human beings have equal value, but deviate from God's law and you will be judged by it. But, all human beings are not created to have the same capacity: be it physical, mental or otherwise. A person who is born sickly, always having health problems will never physically be able to have the same strength as a very able bodied, healthy individual. Same, also, women and men are not equal in body built and strength. So, there is nothing wrong for men and women to have their own category in athletics. Each can find joy in competing against "their own kind". Why take that away from them? I hate that song/slogan, "I can do anything you can do, better". That is not true. I often say, suppose I was a somewhat, quite heavy individual in a burning building. I wouldn't want some puny 5'2" firewoman coming to get me out of that building! Send in a strapping, strong-muscled young buck to come get me out!!! LOL Women and men have a role to "play" while they have life. An athletic competition is about identifying the best competetor.
After all, few MEN can compete at a high level in athletics either. Why should women be PRIVILEGED to have a separate competition and exclude men?
Women have sold the idea that sex discrimination is WRONG. I accept that and insist that exactly that idea should prevail in athletics as well/
Feminists want to pick and choose. When no discrimination favors their interests, they want non discrimination.
But when women can't cut it, then they want "accommodation," hiring women who can't meet the physical standards needed to be an effective firefighter. Or having "separate but equal" athletic competitions.
Why should we double the number of gold medals handed out in the Olympics when nearly every woman winning one is inferior in ability to the man who has won?
And the women who CAN cut it deserve to be honored and recognized. For example, there was a woman who won the Iditarod sled dog race twice a few years ago in Alaska ---a very demanding competition.
In the meantime, why should men be prevented from competing for millions of dollars in prize money and honors in prfessional golf, tennis and other competitions?

But you literally cannot ever BE a woman. You can only have a superficial experience, but not a “lived” experience as a woman.

There is a valid reason why every single sports event ever recorded in history has been organised separately for women and for men. Never mixed. We are not built the same way, our matrix is different. Living in a world where someone has to say this out loud blows my mind.
As a teacher the saddest thing for me is knowing how much girls of 13,14 years of age love their sport. Winning a race among the girls is sometimes their first ever achievement and they remember it forever. Bless you Matt.

My husband and I are going to start the trend of "preferred adjectives". My husband picked "courageous, bold and brave" so anyone who says his name has to say those adjectives first, and in the proper order or he will be highly offended. I'm still deciding what mine are.

Johnathan, wtf are you saying? XY chromosomes naturally produce a boy/man/male in regards to the human species. And males typically have penises. If you want to talk about intersex, that’s a completely different discussion and only occurs in exceptionally rare cases.
But if you’re talking about a man who willingly decides to cut his penis and invert it into his body, causing an open wound that the body tries to heal (unless it is dilated often, like a piercing), which results in said man lying to people saying that it is a vagina when it’s not, then that’s where your little word games are better served.

Yeah I'm always worried that the typically liberal/progressive aura in colleges is allowing this shit to fester and pollute the future generations but then I see a speech like this at one, or I see more younger people in the online space standing up to this lunacy or watching what I'm watching.
Hopefully this sports thing spurs young women on and gives them the confidence and bravery to stand in the face of this. The female swimmer who tweeted out something recently was sadly banned for saying that it's not fair or acceptable, so we've still some way to go. Don't underestimate how powerful young women can be when their rights are legitimately about to be infringed upon or taken away.

I've always been slow as a runner and a bicyclist, such that the thought of competing in either never entered my mind. In my late 30's I was challenged to a friendly informal race by a lady in her late 30's who had been a high school track star. I agreed, and resigned myself to losing as usual. To my surprise, within the first 10 steps I "buried her," and she left off. That was my first clue that men's and women's sports are 2 separate entities, appropriately so.
I played rec basketball against a division I female, I never played high school or college ball, but it was no contest playing against her, she was quite unhappy I spared no effort to dominate her

In 2017 my first granddaughter was born. From the moment she could run she did. It’s something she still loves is running. She’s fast and good. When she discovered that it’s a sport she was excited, it’s just what she loves. How can she excel at an activity she’s loved her entire life. How do you tell a 5 year old that they can be great but they can’t win
Its absolutely amazing to see the strength of hundreds of women in these comments to stand up for their dignity, honor and worth. There is not one good reason why women should have to be told to have to share the same bathroom (and sports) as men... outrageous. I assume many women (and men) are too afraid to speak out against this for fear of being labelled something or cancelled, but the more the "speaking out" happens the more and more people will find courage to do the same.
I am a man. I was born with XY chromosomes, and have all the male body parts. I believe I am a man, but not because I think that what I feel is male. Honestly, I have no way of knowing that what I think or how I think is 'male' since I have never been anyone else. I have no real idea how anyone else thinks. For all I know, how I think about things and myself is what a normal woman thinks. I don't know. However, I know that I have a penis. Therefore, I am a man. This fact of life has no bearing on how I live my life, the choices I make, the things I like. It is just a reality. I think the problem here is that these people are conflating personality with gender, and all that is causing is great confusion and barbaric surgery.
Here is another thought. If biology has no bearing on one's gender, how come the primary method of 'transitioning' is modifying themselves into appearing as the biology of the gender they believe they are?

I hope this carries some weight and has an impact on those fearful, nay, cowardly, women who continue to allow these mentally ill men to compete against them. Matt is 100% correct - until we stand up and say "NO!" this will not stop. My children are grown (and not very athletic) but if they were in sports, I would never let them in the same locker room or competition with someone of the opposite biological sex. By the way, I've never heard of a "trans-man" (a woman who thinks she's a man, right?) who wants to compete against biological males. Wonder why???

@@talia8581 it’s not female athletes fault that males have been allowed into their sports/ spaces and publicly protesting this risks everything they have worked hard to achieve as well as their future career prospects in general.
That is a terrible situation to be put in with no good solution for them. Either they compete with bio men and aim for 2nd place or they speak against it and risk ruining their futures.
They need outside support from others. I’m not saying they shouldn’t do more, but they can’t do it alone and they are not responsible for this madness put upon them.

How could anyone on earth still defend William Thomas competing against women and smashing them? It’s ridiculous. It’s all honestly being done in order to avoid hurting his feelings. The thumbnail is misleading. It has a picture of Caster Semenya (31) a South African runner identified at birth as female and lived her whole life as female. She has undergone physical exams ro prove she is a natural born female. Her body naturally produces more testosterone than the average female because of this the IOC has banned her from competing in the Olympics after she had already won 2 gold medals. She would have to have her body chemically altered from her natural state . She is a woman who isn't allowed to compete against other women because of a supposed genetic advantage. Why is it biological born men can compete against women and we are told there is no genetic advantage? Make it make sense ❓️
I agree about the different treatment. However, Semenya has XXY chromosomes & internal testes with associated biological advantages, so is not considered a biological female by some. Semenya hasn't been banned, but has the option to compete in the men's or take medication to lower testosterone to compete in the women's (at a level that is still higher than a biological female).

The ONLY difference was what those physical exams you refer to discovered: he was born with UNDESCENDED TESTICLES. His testicles are in his BODY CAVITY. He could have the surgery performed any time he chooses and live a perfectly normal life as the MALE he is, but he chooses not to. He REFUSED hormone blockers, which is why he was denied any further opportunities to compete against biological females.
That he was erroneously identified at birth as a female is due to the fact that in Africa at the time he was born, babies were not tested to VERIFY THEIR SEX, unless it was requested. Semenya WAS NOT a " natural born female." Instead, he was a MISGENDERED MALE. Get your facts straight BEFORE you come onto a public forum.

It’s actually love to be realistic with someone. By telling a man he is a “she,” you are perpetuating a lie and not helping him come to reality and flourish within the boundaries of reality. We all have struggles in our lives and deserve actual help from those around us, not people perpetuating lies for us. If someone is depressed and has low self esteem, we don’t tell them “yeah you suck,” we encourage them to see a therapist or psychiatrist to level out the chemicals in their brain that are making them feel a way that is not true.
