Thanks for addressing this. It actually happened to me. I went on a date- online profile, looked like a woman, and we met at a restaurant. When we started talking, her voice, movements, and some other features told me that she was a man. And when I confronted her, she said she was a natural-born woman. No matter how I tried to prove that she was a man, she wouldn't admit it. I lost my appetite, left the restaurant, and went back home. Then she started texting me saying that it wasn't nice that I left the restaurant and LGBTQ have rights. Yes, you have rights, but you can't MAKE me like you. Also, if you are a natural-born real girl, why are you threatening me with LGBTQ rights? And yes, a Trans woman has rights as long as she admits that she is trans. If she claims that she is a natural-born woman, isn't that fraud?

I thought the whole point of second wave feminism was that you don’t have to fit all these cultural stereotypes to be a woman. I enjoy hunting and programming and hate romantic movies and cooking and gossip and messing with makeup and fancy hairstyles. I’m more logical than emotional, I prefer programming over dealing with small children. I feel a stronger protective urge than nurturing urge, I think it’s what let’s me work with foster teens who may never love me, I’m satisfied if I can give them a safe place to live and leave them better prepared for adulthood than when I met them. Maybe it’s the autism spectrum, but I hate to think that this means I’m not really a woman and should become a man. I’m pretty sure by their standards it would.

I used to wear makeup to make myself feel better about myself. I've been told I'm pretty without it but it still gave me more confidence. That's when I was of the working age. Now, I live on a farm, work my ass off outside. I don't have time to put on makeup just to sweat it off again. My man tells me I'm even more beautiful now. I love him! He works, makes good money. He is happy I don't have to work outside the home. It's wonderful. I do work hard at home so he doesn't have to kill himself, so he can come home and relax more. There are things I physically can't do by myself that he needs to do. We work for each other. I want him to be happy. I want to take some of his burden off him. That's what relationships and love for your significant other is all about. It's not about him, or me. It's about us.

Modern women are considering themselves as a valuable product and see men as consumers. When you reduce the relationship to some sort of service delivery, you create a gap between natural behaviors and marketing induced behaviors. i've only known one trans person for an extended period of time long enough to have a gist of what kind of person they are. angry, bitter and hateful is indeed the best way to describe them. in reality, they grew up in a pretty peaceful quiet town somewhere in the US. their life was well provided for under a stable nuclear family and they even went to a private high school despite coming from a lower middle class family. but from the way they describe their childhood, you'd think they crawled out of some hellhole. the conversation that really made me snap with this person was when they explained how they couldn't cook for themselves because their mom never taught them how. "blame my mom, she didn't teach me anything. every time she cooks, she tell everyone to leave the kitchen" is what they said word from word. this person is turning 24, and has lived away from home for years now...

I went on a date- online profile, looked like a woman, and we met at a restaurant. When we started talking, her voice, movements, and some other features told me that she was a man.
And when I confronted her, she said she was a natural-born woman. No matter how I tried to prove that she was a man, she wouldn't admit it.
I lost my appetite, left the restaurant, and went back home. Then she started texting me saying that it wasn't nice that I left the restaurant and LGBTQ have rights.

I thought the whole point of second wave feminism was that you don’t have to fit all these cultural stereotypes to be a woman. I enjoy hunting and programming and hate romantic movies and cooking and gossip and messing with makeup and fancy hairstyles. I’m more logical than emotional, I prefer programming over dealing with small children. I feel a stronger protective urge than nurturing urge, I think it’s what let’s me work with foster teens who may never love me, I’m satisfied if I can give them a safe place to live and leave them better prepared for adulthood than when I met them. Maybe it’s the autism spectrum, but I hate to think that this means I’m not really a woman and should become a man. I’m pretty sure by their standards it would.

Although some do it for men, some for standards.
I used to wear makeup to make myself feel better about myself. I've been told I'm pretty without it but it still gave me more confidence. That's when I was of the working age. Now, I live on a farm, work my ass off outside. I don't have time to put on makeup just to sweat it off again. My man tells me I'm even more beautiful now. I love him! He works, makes good money. He is happy I don't have to work outside the home. It's wonderful. I do work hard at home so he doesn't have to kill himself, so he can come home and relax more. There are things I physically can't do by myself that he needs to do. We work for each other. I want him to be happy. I want to take some of his burden off him. That's what relationships and love for your significant other is all about. It's not about him, or me. It's about us.

i've only known one trans person for an extended period of time long enough to have a gist of what kind of person they are. angry, bitter and hateful is indeed the best way to describe them. in reality, they grew up in a pretty peaceful quiet town somewhere in the US. their life was well provided for under a stable nuclear family and they even went to a private high school despite coming from a lower middle class family. but from the way they describe their childhood, you'd think they crawled out of some hellhole. the conversation that really made me snap with this person was when they explained how they couldn't cook for themselves because their mom never taught them how. "blame my mom, she didn't teach me anything. every time she cooks, she tell everyone to leave the kitchen" is what they said word from word. this person is turning 24, and has lived away from home for years now...
