An increasingly popular type of ship modelled in recent years is the Passenger Ferry. The attention to detail on the examples displayed at the International Model Boat Show was extremely impressive.

I was Third Officer on the Celestine when she was on bare boat charted to the UK Government and under the name of Sea Crusader. We used to run from Marchwood ( Southampton ) to Oman with military vehicles. Lovely ship, bit of a head trim and she rode beautifully. Stern ramp was a beast if I remember. Lovely to see such a great model of her, amazing detailss.

Challenge should be to make the cars hazard lights flash, could sequence the cars to turn one after another randomly on a couple of different settings so you could switch of the patterns and make it appear to be more random
Would look more realistic than turning the headlights on

Beautifull models but they spoil the illusion by not also modelling the movement. Big ships like those are slow cumbersome beasts that take time to turn and some distance to stop. I reckon what's required is possibly motors that have a much slower top speed ... or ... perhaps a mechanism that can slow down the rate at which they can change speed. It just does not look right to have such big ships with such sharp acceleration and deceleration.
