I like your honest opinions, there are reaction chanels everywhere these days and some are just not that honest imo. Apreciate how you like the girls. So far from your reaction, I woild like to recommend "kick it" for the next song. And i will suggest another group from the same label, "BANG BANG BANG" by BIGBANG. Check out their Coachella performances. When they perform live, they have a real live 4 piece band. Their live versions have more of a rock vibe because of the band. They add guitar riffs, drum fills such that's not on the studio versions.

Same, I never dove in Kpop because it wasnt my genre before but when I heard Kill This Love, I started listening to their songs. I guess it takes only one song for us to give it a chance to listen to other genres. Great reaction, i love it ❤️
Lyrics of all Blackpink's song is really carefully structured with carefully chosen words. Every single line shows great rhyme for example "Whistle like missle". Korean lyrics also shows great rhyme.

The one with bangs is named Lisa, she's my bias and I appreciate that you liked her rap because it's one of my favorite raps of her! Full of swag! Thank you for reacting! It’s refreshing seeing how honest you are through these reactions and I dig the breakdowns you do of the music. If youre into rap/r&b and am trying to get exposed to some kpop, i recommend listening to Red Velvet’s “Bad Boy” which they also have a music video for. Theyre a kpop girl group as well. Its been said that they have two sides to their style of music. The Red and The Velvet. The red, for more upbeat sort of poppy music and the velvet, for the more r&b/contemp music i think. But yeah “Bad Boy”
is more on the Velvet side. Specifically that 90’s r&b smooth summer bop. Hope you check it out!

Here you'll have a view of their singing/raps skills, both rappers (Jennie and Lisa) wrote their rap parts there and it's full English as well. It's a cover that'll make you like them more because of their voices and talent. :)
Loved how honest you are, tho those chorus parts completes this whole song well. 😊 I, too, do not love the bubblegum popy kinda songs hence I loved Blackpink for their diff approach in pop. I know you love Miguel's Sure thing, so i really hope you could react to Blackpink's cover of it, a lot of Miguel's fans loved their cover. It's in pure english btw, 3 of them can speak english fluently and 1 who knows the basics and can understand aswell. Since you like Blackpink I think you might also like Mamamoo, another group of four girls but they are slightly older, and a bit more of a "mature" look and sound. I think in particular you would like their newest song HIP, or their song Destiny (Destiny has no music video but the Queendom performance video is DOPE). I love this song. The rap you liked by the blonde (in Pink) is Lisa and she is Thai. She auditioned in Bangkok and was the only one selected out of 4000. She was 14 yo and did not speak Korean, she was a trainee for 5 yrs 1 month. I believe her awesome rapping skills are her charisma and the fact she was academically taught Korean, meaning she knew no slang or regional accents.
"Boombaya" would be a good next, followed by "Playing with Fire". Then the Coachella live performances.

Please check out Bigbang they are a boy group signed to the same Korean label as Blackpink. I suggest "Good Boy" its performed as a subunit by two of the members (GD and Taeyang).
the vibe change that you're talking is in all of their songs, this duality is what makes them unique and makes all the people like, doens't matter if you like rock, pop or hip hop, you will like them, I think is a way to conect more people that likes diferents styles of music

Hey bro I really think you need to dive deeper into Kpop. There is a lot of "hip hop tracks" like this there. Most of the groups (and there are many groups, I'm talking about 50+) have a designated rap line of 2 or 3 members! It's really dope! The top female groups at the moment (most popular) that add hip hop elements are BLACKPINK, (G)I-DLE, EVERGLOW, MAMAMOO and CLC! The top male groups are BTS, EXO, BIGBANG, ATEEZ and NCT 127 just to name a few but there is quality stuff way deeper if you take your time to listen to it. Kpop is super good for real.
Try Doom Dada by T.O.P if you want more of the rap side of kpop. Really crazy video, too.
OR Zutter by BIGBANG (GD and T.O.P) - also great song and video.
Checkout Dreamcatcher they are also Kpop but have a rock influence.
