Hard to call Itzy a "pillar" when they've never even come close to being the most successful at JYPE. Even now in 2024 they're lagging waaay behind Twice. Itzy and Nmixx were both ultimately flops for JYPE, sorry to say.

He even said that thanks to them he “composed another hit song” and that they had changed a lot with those songs. The channel where I saw the video was in "STRAY K SUBS" (Sorry if there is bad English, I'm still learning it.)
They were the main source, now it's Stray Kids. Skz was JYPs first million seller with their album NoEasy. TWICE had a big role in keeping JYP afloat but even with their popularity, JYP was having a hard time financially competing with other agencies until Skz came along. But yes, TWICE still plays an important role as they are more popular in Korea while Skz is more popular worldwide (#3 Best selling artist globally 2023; #2 in US). They conquer different markets.

@@prmtvDefinitely good to give credit to both groups, Twice AND Stray Kids made JYPE. None of JYPE's younger groups are doing anywhere near as well, and they don't really have consistent growth. I would not be surprised if Twice and Stray Kids remain the all time greats of JYPE for a long time. The company really needs to figure out wth they're doing with the younger groups, the music styles are either generic or absolutely terrible in a couple of cases, and quite frankly (even though western fans hate to hear this) the overall visuals in the younger groups are nothing special either. This stuff is important in kpop.
