He says something about neutron losing electron to become proton, and says that two different charges are created from no charge. Enough people have cleared this up with quarks. But the point is still valid, our universe must have come out of nothing.
Energy is not liberated freely into nothing, that disappeared energy is converted into kinetic energies of the product particles,energy is conserved always even in this case,decay process.
