Peter Green genius. And could I please have a round of applause for the mistro Roger Cotton playing that Hammond C3 organ like a god.
R.I.P. Peter. You were one of the greats and shall be missed.
Still knew his way around the fret board , great effort considering all that has gone under the bridge of time
RIP PETER
RIP Peter, you taught me a lot about the guitar and a lot about music
RIP Peter 😇😇😇I for me I only could cry 🖤🖤🖤,( those people who did you to suffer for years instead to help you ,they willl get so much punished , the day comes for that crime , ) you still a veryvery good musican ,but not the one you we're before ,they have taken all your ident your magic , your all you had and nobody had a right for that to do, never forgiven )
Neil Murray. OMG, that brings back memories
Fleetwood Mac.
Mr Wonderful.
Then play on.
Blues jam at Chess.
The original Fleetwood Mac.
Fleetwood Mac at the BBC.
All fantastic blues albums.
Having been to several live performances of Fleetwood Mac in the late sixties, I was prepared for disappointment with this show. However, Peter’s guitar playing shone through with the identical brilliance and subtlety I witnessed all those years ago. Although his vocal ability seemed a little off, it reminded me of those old delta bluesmen he loved to emulate. Bravo maestro!
Yes voice is shot, but he was great otherwise.
Harmonica howling, means the truth is spoken here, ya hear 👏 🙌
Peter Green was a great singer in the late 60's and early 70's but unfortunately time coupled with a very difficult period in his life has clearly impacted his singing voice as heard in this performance. However some of the magic Green guitar playing is preserved. RIP Peter Green.
Done got old, but still the real deal. 💯 for a farewell finale! RIP 🪦 ☮️ 🙏
Nigel Watson, Tom Cotton, et.al...tremendous supportive band for sure, mate's & friends to the end 💙
The name is ROGER Cotton (RIP)
Gentle soul 😢 great guitar we shall meet again...
Brings a tear to my eye hearing his voice in that condition. He had one of the best voices ever.
I think he sounds pretty good considering.
@@michaelgarcia2050 He definitely was a shell of his former self at the point in time, unfortunately. 😔 The condition he had (Schizophrenia) really does a number on people, and the medication that you take for it does Hell to your body.
@coogan8825 That’s just about never the direct cause of developing something like Schizophrenia. Frequently using large doses of drugs (especially powerful hallucinogenic drugs) definitely can and does contribute though, but it was pretty obvious that Peter had been dealing with mental health issues even from when he first appeared to the public in John Mayer & the Bluesbreakers. He was often depressed internally and had a VERY critical/negative view of his self. He honestly probably had clinical depression to begin with and large doses of LSD greatly exacerbated it and also brought on chronic psychotic episodes (thus his official Schizophrenia diagnosis).
@coogan8825 Peter actually really enjoyed playing once they took him off his anti-psychotic medication, but he was a shell of his former self.
Shouldn't have been on stage Peter was in no condition a shell of a man someone was getting paid out of this and I bet it wasn't peter
Rest in peace Peter you truly were god
🙄......😔💭 Hope Peter is happy. And that he knows that he is not obligated ,to anyone,to do anything he doesnt wanna do. Freedom is real(as long as people dont f#ck it up) ☝️👽 Then play on....great album😎
Peter. At. His. Peak. It's all. How. U. Look. At it.
I was lucky to catch Peter at Guilfest - with the original line up featuring Cozy and Spike Edney. A great line-up even without Peter, but with him magic. Watson filled in for Jeremy Spencer after he left FM on the 1971 American tour. Unfortunately Cozy, Nigel Roger and Peter have gone to the great gig in the sky.
awesome, one of my favs. too bad there´s no newer songs tho. reaching the cold 100 ie is awesome piece.
Great musicians magic peter green with the best great live performance
Maestro de la técnica y del tono, cada día que pasa le admiro mas...
La cadencia es genial Rip Peter estas en lo más como toda tu música.
PETER GREEN. FORA DE SÉRIE.
Einfach nur genial, einfach nur genial, einfach nur genial..................
A shadow of his former self. But it made me happy that he seemed to be enjoying himself.
I think it sounds great to be fair. He’s bound to not sound like he did in 68/9
I agree !! Love the whole feel of it.
note to self: 23:04 (shake your hips)
Too bad Danny Kirwan couldn’t make it back.
ナイジェル元気かなあ^_^
Coco Montoya is great !
SRV-the best
Peter is playing his Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion. Uncommon, even somewhat rare guitar that fits his style remarkably well.
I wonder why Peter Green had a big fall out with Nigel Watson who frankly looked in much better shape than Peter did during this performance?
I think he was controling him in ways he didn't want to be controled. It was Ok in the beginning, but as Peter's mind cleared, he saw Watson was really only helping himself at Peter's exspense.
@@bobcabo4509 Oh well, it's all academic now isn't it?
