- Samahan nyo po ako sa aking pamamasyal habang binibisita ko ang magandang lugar ng Sangley Point sa Cavite City, Philippines na ngayon ay Naval Base Heracleo Alano. Ako po ay ipinanganak at lumaki sa lugar na ito. Ang paglaki sa lugar na ito ay nagdulot sa akin ng maraming saya at hindi malilimutang magagandang alaala. Minsan nangarap ako na magkaron ng isang time machine upang bumalik sa pagkabata at maibalik lahat ng alaala ko dito. Ito ang pinakamaganda sa lahat ng panahon sa buhay ko, at habang tumatagal ito ay nagiging masayang alaala. Ang lugar na ito ay isa sa mga dahilan na nagpabago sa akin kung sino man ako at kung ano man ako ngayon. Ang disiplinang militar na natamo ko ang naghulma sa ang aking pagkatao upang ako ay maging isang mabuting mamamayan. Ang pamumuhay ko dito ay naging makulay. Kung kaya sumama na kayo sa aking joyride at sabay-sabay nating bisitahin ang magandang lugar ng Sangley Point, Cavite City. #SangleyPoint #SangleyBrat #JiggersTV

When I was a kid, my Aunt used to take me inside the base to visit my uncle who was a US Navy and stationed there, then we went to the commissary to grocery shop and bought chocolates, like MM, Kisses and many more. Then on the 4th of July we go inside the base to celebrate the US Independence and enjoy bbq and lots of food being served by the service men and women of US Navy. Then on Sundays we go to Mass in that Chapel you shown...
I'm here in the US now work and live here for 30 something years and seeing this base brought back so many memories of my childhood. Thank you for this video.
nakakamiss nmn yan...jan din ako lumaki sa sangley point.nag elementary ako sa sangley elementary school pag uwian diretso kmi sa snow white(playground)malapit sa soccer field. nakakamiss tlga...nkatita kmi sa pacible st.malapit sa basketball at barangay hall sa part ng airforce.nakakamiss tlga.kaya nung napanuod ko ito hndi ko mapigilang magcomment.18years din ako jn sa sangley..daminko happy memories

I’ve been there so many times when I was younger. My father used to work there as a manager in a Hobby Shop. I love going there I still remember the smell like a sweet red apple 🍎 My father also took me and my siblings in his office or work place. I love the most part is the coin machines that dispense candies and soda. 😂 We watch fireworks in holidays. I like when they have open house so much food I learned how to eat carrots, celery sticks, lettuce and tomatoes raw.The Americans are so nice just like my father 😊 But when Sangley Point closed my father transferred to the Base in Olongapo. I never been to Olongapo 😔My father now is retired and lives in Cavite City he is 91 years old! I missed Sangley Point🥹Thanks for sharing you bring back beautiful memories!♥️God Bless🙏🏻

ok brod namis ko rin ang sangley 3 years ako dyan 1977 up to 80 ex navy ako dati akong naasign dyan sa cavte naval base sa main ang duty ko sa officers landing perimeter watch at dun sa swimming pool sa tabi ng naval air group may basketball court dun anyway salamat sa upload mo very nice more power to you brod....

Well done my friend, I was born and raised in Cavite City but never got to know how inside the base looks like. We did some electrical work on 2 of the buildings inside the base but that was when long time ago and never got the chance to take a tour of this wonderful place. Thanks for giving me a tour as an insider and I enjoyed it a lot as an outsider. God bless you and have a great day.

Went here for ROTC shipboarding just a week ago. It was scorching hot but very fun, the base is really interesting and nice. We saw the aircrafts, navy museum and went aboard a navy ship. Must be nice to grow up in this place.

Things sure look different from when I was stationed there 55 years ago. Couldn't find the barracks I stayed in, but it looks like the tower is still there. Loved the video.

Na miss ko yan sangley dyn ako simula baby hanggang grade 1 1994 umalis na kami dyn, sa guest house kami nakatira yung pinaka luma, lagi kami napunta ng dagat dumadaan sa runway iwas lang sa mga sundalo 😅

The pier will never be forgotten to every kid who grew up in sangley. Same as the breakwater and the target range especially collectors or benta tanso of used gun shells. 😆

Pwede na po bang mabisita ang Sangley Point up to this day o kailangan pa ng permiso para makapasok dyan? Sa pagkakaalala ko po, may mga sundalo at mga opisyal ng gobyerno ang pumupunta dyan at bawal dayuhin for security reasons kasi po dati yang base ng mga Amerikano.
