The 2601 model is missing the toilet vent pipe located on the short hood, fireman’s side. Very noticeable on the prototype. I am an engineer at NCTM and just ran this engine. Need photos? Measurements?
CR GP30's were also made up of former Reading GP30's, that were the 1st and heaviest GP30's built. The Indiana Northeastern also has a former Reading GP30 as well.
Is there a road name line up for the next run? Looking for some anthracite region, GP30’s in a green and yellow scheme in the 5500 number class. A matching set of SD45’s with a bee logo would also be sweet.
Yes, the merger did happen on 6/1/1982 but the 2585 was painted in Southern Dulux in the spring of 1983. Norfolk Southern had not decided on the paint scheme until N&W 4129 through 4132 were painted "Thoroughbred" in Roanoke. -Drayton
Nice locomotive model. Since everything is made of plastic Trinity's 6241 and 5851-cf no end cut outs plastic pellet covered hoppers is a must for us modern modelers. Tankers in the general service range of 25,000 -30,000 gallon range plus the banded candy colored 16,000-20,000 gallon cars including the panda bear Soduim Hydroxide one's would round things out.
Order placed for Cotton Belt 754. I love the as delivered SP/SSW light package! When you do your SP run can we get the 5000 series with the large SP on the nose? A full rear light package or a blanked off rear light package is fine. Thanks for doing these! @@Scaletrains
I have 1 bad order GP30 B Unit you are going to be at are Club in BAKERSFIELD GEHAMS Are going do anther run of GP30 B Units again my name is PETER WACO
Why do the hobby manufactures just keep rehashing the same engine models, We have had nice GP30's for years now, How about an H-20-44 or a C415 or late versions of the H-16-44 or H-12-44 High hood late BLH road switchers would be nice as would a RT-624 as would an Alco S-6 or T-6
CONRAIL had GP30s from PRR,NYC,RDG,PC.
Cool Video. You guys should make C40-8Ws

Wish they'd make the overhead walkway lamps a functional piece.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I have forwarded your comment to our Product Development team. -Drayton
If you guys would ever produce an Indiana Northeastern model, I will go broke..
If you guys did gp35s highood and standard cab I would definitely buy more than one.
Your attention to detail is amazing! 👍🏼
Thank you! Cheers! -Drayton
If your headlights are lighting up the reflective nose herald on a locomotive, you're driving the wrong way! Time to bail. Tuck and roll! 🤣
You are correct! LOL! -Drayton
Do you have a video about the introduction of the Cotton Belt GP30?
no conrail 2233? that one is preserved in the Railroad Museum of PA.
When will you do another run of Chessie SD40-2s?

Sweet! They look awesome!
Glad you like them! -Drayton
Enjoyed the video. The N&W-Southern merger was on June 1, 1982. I was with Southern when the merger went through. I'm sure you meant to say 1982.

Amazing locos and wagons
You guys should make SD80MACs.
They look great! Now somebody needs to do CRANDIC geep 9's and SW's.
It probably won't be us since Athearn already has the tooling to offer those models. -Drayton
@@Scaletrains True. Atlas did the CRANDIC MP-15's a few years ago. It would be nice if someone, anyone, did the geeps and SW's. Maybe someday.
