Hi, I wanted to ask you if it is true that the Elinchrom skyport transmitter plus hs can also control a Godox monolight, it seems strange to me but they tell me yes. How are things really? Thank you in advance.
I am having a 10 years old elinchrom 500 studio light. I could not synch with Godox V1N /X1T. I owned a third party trigger for many years and I lost it once. After that I am unable to sync. The light sensor in the studio light is flashing on light from camera flash but not synching. Please give me a solution for using my set of studio lights.
+Carlos Alvarado Photography Looking at the info on it, on Elinchrom's website, I believe that it is compatible with all Elinchrom lights... either through the built-in receivers in some lights (D-Lite, BRX etc.), or the plug in skyport receivers (Style RX etc) So you should be able to remotely control their power, and have the 'HS' mode available on them, which I believe is a 'longburn' hypersync type of high speed mode. I have RX-One's and BRX's, so I'd love to see the HS mode working on these.

+Andrew Parnell same here. I'll actually be at the Expo in NYC this week so I'm hoping to run into someone there from Elinchrom that can answer my concerns. I'll keep you posted.

@ Dieter Lamm Speedlites simply can't produce the power as compare to studio strobe especially when you are shooting in broad daylight. It's all about power, stopping action and over powering the sun using high speed sync. I hope you'll get my point.
You guys at Elinchrom need to get your act together. Some of your material says the new trigger will enable High Sync on all lights, other material says it won't. Which is it? I need to know as I'm looking to pick up a BRX500/500 set and if it can't achieve high sync, I'll have to go a different direction.
selling my bxri just for this reason. too old to include for HS, which is all I want now. Will be sad to sell all my gear to use profoto, but hey, i get TTL/HS with Olympus. Get it together Elinchrom.
don't get me wrong, but this is a expensive studio flash system and shoudn't this be obvious for years? I will stick to my cheep Yongnuo transcievers and flashes.
