Looks like a few other Chinese brands are also releasing 2000Hz polling rate controllers. I even saw the Apex 4 Wukong edition which apparently features 2000Hz polling rate as well, although I'm not sure if it's a mistake, as in some places it says it's 1000Hz only. Anyways, I'm cool with my controllers so far lol, only 2 of them have 1000Hz polling rate, but it's honestly never bothered that my other ones aren't. I don't think it makes any difference unless you're a pro or a competitive gamer tbh.
I have pre ordered a BigBig Won Blitz 2 and have a hard time deciding between the two. The Blitz 2 has TMR sticks which should better than Hall effect sticks. The Starflash one has swappable hall effect sticks.
@8Tailz tmr joysticks aren't any better just so you know, the proclaimed "better accuracy" requires a better sensor and currently there are not any tmr sticks past 12 bit/4096 resolution.
@n64slayer What about power efficiency, temperature resistance, and resistance to interference? I've read many articles about this subject, and TMR is absolutely superior to hall effect, and the future of joysticks technology. Accuracy will definitely be improved even further, but it's already well above hall effect and very close to POTS.

I saw your comment about this controller on Game Heaven's video, lol. I highly doubt this ugly thing has superior real-world performance to hall effect controllers that are already available. I'm sure there will be many videos popping up about this controller in the coming weeks, so I guess we'll see how good this controller actually is. Even if it somehow wins when it comes to performance, the build quality is going to be pretty poor for that price, as money has to be saved somewhere.

@StardustLegacyFighter machenike is the only controller brand with real innovation at the moment, putting optical switches in their controllers with as low as 0.2ms response time, 2000hz wireless polling rate chips, shoulder buttons (when flydigi removes them), hot swappable joystick modules, controllers that don't drift out of the box (flydigi) and software that is actually good...
@n64slayer Maybe that's because hardly anyone is buying it? You're comparing a product that has a relatively small sample size with a product that has a much larger sample size. Also, we're talking about the new G6 Pro Starflash, not the original one, which has been out for a while now.

The tech they're using to reach those refresh rates seem to be called NearLink, a Chinese technology. Other than this controller, I've only seen the Betop Asura 2 Pro+ (a newer edition).

I'm not sure if I'll get it, as it would have to be a total package like the EVA controller, for it to be worth adding to my collection.

@@n64slayerFair enough, I guess the design isn't everyone's cup of tea. 😅 I do like how they removed the faceplate on the Wukong edition, so that you can access the tension adjustment mechanism directly. I probably won't get it, as they're not selling the case and other accessories with it, but I'm contemplating the AC version. I just don't like the standard version of the Apex 4, and it's a shame it only comes in one colour.

I doubt most people would be able to tell the difference. Its all about feel rather than getting lost in the polling rate war. If you suck then you suck!
This might need some testing there is probably a catch with that 0.5 ms Ive yet to see stats on this controller yet. For now I’ll stick to my vader 4 pro as they have just patched the deadzone bug controller works like a charm.

@DesocupadoXtremo those are real images from the products landing page, there is even a trailer from machenike that shows most of it. These aren't poorly translated and it's a Chinese controller brand to begin with.
Machenike has one of the worst reputations for their stuff randomly breaking. Saw another video on this and their controller is already broken after a week. The tech on this is cool, unfortunately it is implemented by a trash company.
First off, you can return it. Secondly, I haven't heard anything about quality control on any of there controllers and if you don't belive me, look at Amazon reviews. One instance isn't the end all be all, everyone has a different experience. If that was the case I would say gamesir, flydigi, and PowerA all have terrible qc because I have had issues with every single controller company I've ever bought from. I just don't go on the internet and critique every little thing.

This controller also has way more features apart from shoulder buttons but if they are needed I would get the G5 pro v2
