You do not need to remove the engine mount to do this job. I did everything from underneath. The whole job start to finish took 30 minutes (included cleanup). 19mm box end wrench with a 18" of 1 1/2 ABS pipe for the leverage works. No special tools needed.
Did you use a lift or jack? I may do this soon.
@@bpong151 I used a jack with jack stand under the control arm for safety.
@@joemechanic2751 thanks! Yeah I think there should be easier way to do this.
Yea I do these all the time just go behind the mount plenty of room to remove tension
What's a great vid mate! Well done
You can use threadlock glue instead of replacing the bolts.
Very well-done video!
@erikboisen5675 - Thanks!
Thank you buddy for doing this video. What was the condition of belt and mileage of car plz.
@mohammadtz337 - 135,600 miles (218227 Km), the belt has acceptable minor cracks on the inner ribbed surface, the outer surface is still good but I did changed it anyway.
🙌🏼
Nice video, butt if you have the ability to make a DIY tool, why not make one similar to a hockey stick so you don't have to remove the passenger side engine mount? KW
