- Paul and Tyler put Honda VTEC in their Mark I Mini Cooper care of a supercharged J series engine swap. The result? 500 horsepower with very little weight to slow it down! Meanwhile Mr. Matthew Jensen brought 1000 horses thanks to a 6.2 liter supercharged Hellcat and some secret bolt-on science but with twice the weight too, so we gotta do a drag race for science now.

Nate Should have knocked on wood! We literally gave the keys to dozens of drivers and the only fail was an empty gas tank! We did stress testing on a 100degree day and ran I believe 10 1/8th mile passes in one day one after another.

I agree, the sounds, the power to weight, the level of finish. I think it needs a bit of minor tweaks to tuning and perhaps stronger clamps, and trunk latches, and perhaps for drag some slicks, but it's a ripper.
even just a 2 door cooper s is super fun to daily. I bought my wife one and I'd rather drive that than my challenger RT or my genesis sedan.

2nd roll race was almost even at the line and neither roll race was even close anyway. Once the Kitty got traction it was all over even from the dig. That Mini is fucking insane though, I'd be scared to drive it.

Sorry, not seeing a jump. You can use the arrows and pause to watch. Hands are down. Cooper seemed to have the perfect launch. Hellcat launched late and couldn't get power down (so much tire spin). Bonus round Hellcat had better launch, warmer tires, and more weight in the rear (they yell about it like 3 x 2 times, there is very little spin on bonus).
Still fun to watch, but late launch, not jump.

Not only that. It's on par with restomod prices. The craft on it is high quality. That shifter is really nice + you get proper infotainment not a barn build. I also think they have lower end builds that are fun and less scary than clif diving into a teapot.

Ho Zack, this video is pretty cool but what you and Matt filmed was hilarious. We fixed a lot of the “Sketch” as you put it and it’s much better….except for the muffler mount and blowing the doors off;-) Spoiler alert over the last two years we have been developing the new and improved model and I think you will like it. We took your advise and hired a suspension expert who completely started from scratch. It will be 300lbs lighter, have variable turbo boost, better brakes, and completely a different suspension system. Just saying

This was one of the better ones for sure. The Hellcat seemed to be very well put together as evidenced by putting the smack down with passengers. However, even at $200k, that Mini (Super) Cooper still has more smiles per $ ratio than most supercars.
