Thank you so much. Your instruction gave me the information I needed.
“Let it air dry”Continues to dry with towel
And what happened after that?
I would not use parts cleaner due to the fact it can eat away at the o rings used with those filter cartridges.
Pablo's Reef what do you recommend instead?
smart man
So what would you use
How much parts cleaner was left when the new oring was seated?
jonathan valdez use a towel and wipe it away.
Why not use the claw oil wrench to put it back on with?
So it was a big mistake by pouring in my 1.8 EU version, 5w40? I looked on auto-data after I did it and it recomands 5w20 or 5w30..
Where does the little o-ring go for the filter?
I know this is an old vid. But is it correct to do filter before drain? I just want to know correct way
+Chad Carr Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
I always leave off at the same time to drain
7:07 I really wish the 'mechanics' who have done my recent oil changes did this!!
Leave the oil cap off so you can remember to put oil after draining? 🤔
It has happened where mechanics forget to refil with oil so is good if it helps her remember.
What’s the tiny gasket for
It’s for the bolt on bottom on the oil filter but don’t take it out me doing it made the filter housing go bad
You didn't show removal of the bottom cover which is a real PITA without a car lift. I hate this car!
Get a body removal toolHelps save time on those plastic push ins
What are you talking about? It's the easiest thing in the world. You seem incompetent.
Take it off and don’t put it back on, that’s what I did lol, too much work
23 N-m = 17 ft lbs
2.3 liter engine. Ok.
Who else says 5w-20? We usually say 5-20 here in Europe
@Michael Adam I get surprised how everything is different in each continent. Even the smallest details :D
