Sharing this with my neighbors - living on well water we get breaks and water shut offs more often than in the city - I put a towel over faucets to remind me turn water on slow - did this as once I got a loud noise and my son told me it could bust my pipes - living in a double wide - wouldn’t it be great if human arteries could get unclogged that easy 😀 thanks for sharing your knowledge- love the combination of your current work and being a paramedic ❤️
A water hammer! I learned something. Recently there was a water main break on my block so they shut the water off to the block and after they fixed it, turned it back on. Immediately after they did that repair on my block, all my sinks had poor water flow and almost no hot water except for my shower. I called public works and asked them what happened, is there any way what you did caused this problem i am having and they were baffled and said, No absolutely not. But i just checked my kitchen faucet aerator and it was clogged and after cleaning it, the hot water is back in full force. So i am assuming the other sinks also are clogged bc of the "water hammer"! Every time they shut off and turn the water back on into my house, dirt gets into my water lines!! And they did that twice in the past 2 weeks bc of the cold temperatures busting the water pipes. Thank you for that last part of your video where you mentioned the water hammer. Now i know what is happening. 💯👍
What a great video. Thank you it gave me some insights. That bit under the actual valve inserts seems to be the most problematic. For example our kitchen faucet (and others) have those screw-in inserts that go under the valve. I keep wondering how those should be optimized 😮
So I have one bathroom in house where both sink faucet and shower (right next to it on same line) have no hot pressure. All other bathrooms and sinks have normal pressure for both sides. Water is hard for the area and there is occasionally issues with sediment build up needing to be cleared in faucet nozzle. I’ve done troubleshoot with the tankless water but now I’m thinking that both shower and sink cartridges need to be replaced. Any thoughts ?
Might have a valve after your water heater that is partially closed if all plumbing fixtures have low pressure in the cold side. Or the main cold supply pipe after the water heater is partially clogged with mineral deposits. The reason I say AFTER water heater is you state the hot water pressure is fine. So the cold supply before the water heater is good. Otherwise both would have a poor output. That is my best guess. Please let me know what you find out.
Thanks for the vid! question, I've noticed that the cold water valve (underneath the cabinet, where the hose connects) even if i turn it off it continues to shoot water up, do i need to change it?
@@CRACKERJACKSDIY I needed to get the air out of the main water valve, that's what was causing the water runing out of the cold pipe, I replaced both valves with the quarter turn type and works like a charm. Thanks man, this vid was really helpful. Bless.
Lol! I actually agree but I can’t take it out now it’s one of the first videos I did. I definitely learned from that haha! Thanks for sharing your success and the feedback 💪👏🙏
My house was built in 1987 recently my husband took out a water filtration system now we have a very sparse amount of cold water in the shower how can it be fixed separate handles for cold & hot water
Sorry, it was one of my first videos and I was overzealous with the music because I like music 😁 anyway I’m pretty sure there’s the option for subtitles.
I love music! To me music is life! I believe there are subtitles but next time I’ll make sure the music softer for sure. Thank you for the valuable feedback so my videos can continue to improve. 🙏
Wow OK you’re missing on some good information, I happen to appreciate music. It literally saved my life. I would have never guessed you would not appreciate music since it’s literally in your name? Anyway, thank you for commenting 🙏 I genuinely hope you find what you’re looking for
Already did :) that was one of my first videos. Also better lighting and camera now for future videos. Please consider subscribing, lots of helpful videos coming soon, and much better quality!

Has it always been like this since you moved in?
What about issues with multiple faucets as well as toilets? Hot water is fine cold water is super super slow....

Yes you do make sure you get a quarter turn valve, their last much longer and are less susceptible to premature failure!

We have low flow on the cold side of a single handle faucet?
Thanks, very helpful.
Thanka for commenting!🙏
Thanks for useful video,
The music that you put on video is annoying,

It’s posdible the cartridge for the cold water is clogged. Similar concept if that is indeed the issue.
Let me know what you find out
It did after I changed my bathroom faucet
Are you able to fix it?
The music is overwhelming your words

Why did he have to add music? Made it difficult to concentrate & hear the lesson

First video, tried to mix it but my computer crashed so it is what it is unfortunately
Pretty sure there are subtitles if it bothers you, the info is good
