The sightseeing quest giver in Tuliyollal does outright tell you that her log is mostly for the south and her sister is in the north surveying it, so getting two quests was what I expected.
it's always hilarious to see people ask for stuff that the game literally walks you right in front of and tells you more than once that this is what it is. Never gets old.

I never actually used a materia melder before, does using one give you the same melding percentages as melding yourself?
Solution 9 bgm is so good. Spent ages just afk jamming out to it. Need it on spotify.

Is there any reason the job armor never contains jewelry items?
Because it drops from the last 1-2 x.0 story dungeons.

@@one_eyeddd473 yes. You couldn't finish the story in the tempest until you completed at least one full line of the role quests. I THINK the same was true of endwalker, but I forget.
no I don't believe so, and the role quests have absolutely nothing to do with the MSQ storywise so I don't see why they would.

Just in case anyone is confused, the AF armor doesn't unlock halfway through the level 99 quests. It unlocks at the very end of the level 99 quests, after the 4th MSQ dungeon and 2nd trial.
Um actually it is both about halfway through the level 99 quests and after the trial ("after the trial" is probably the most useful description). The level 99 quests continue well into the 6th zone.
does anyone know exactly how to get orange scrips? this is my first time crafting at the start of an expansion lol
Gotta get to max level, be 100 on one crafter and you can earn them.
Be max level and do custom deliveries and / or do the level 100 collectible turnins.

@@greekmanx that's not right actually you can unlock them both from the wandering minstrel in tuliyollal after finishing the MSQ. you might be referring to the expert dungeons where one of them is unlocked in tuliyolla and the other in solution nine.

Usually gear is obtained from hunt currency later, after the first uncapped tomestones get chased out.
Never gear to start from Hunt currency. As the expac patches hit, the old tome gear leaves the tome vendor....it goes to the Hunt vendors.

I type in the quest Taking a stand in the MSQ and I get this WHY? wtf does job armor have to do with this, You Tube is as stupid and square with this expansion.

Eh, if you don't care about the story, a quick Google+skipping saves more time than going through the word salad and cutsceenes.
I swear as this game gets more popular and get more players from other games, the average IQ of the playerbase is in a sharp decline. People just get dumber and dumber with every expansion.

I think it boils down to people reaching lvl 100 and assuming it unlocks based off that. I think endwalker or shadowbringers did something similar.
I'm already 100 with my full augmented credendum armor and accessories at ilvl 660 in every slot and max ilvl 665 relic. Unfortunately I got 100 during the lvl 95 dungeon because when I started DT MSQ, I was already 96 because of all my prep work I prepared. Looks like I have to level up a new job up to 95 to avoid MSQ wasted exp. It's sad to see the AF gear is story locked.
so all that pointless prepping to overlevel all the content, then sad to see that for the sixth expansion in a row, the AF is locked behind the story like 99.99999999% of all the content.
@@Shiirow I was expecting it to be like Shadowbringers when it prevented MSQ progress by being underleveled after completing the new dungeon so you had to keep spamming the new dungeon over and over again when your level is high enough to continue MSQ.
AF gear has been story locked for the past 3 expansions now.
@@Disciplined_Fate they upped the EXP you get from the story quest so you get to lvl 100 with the story. this was also in the patch notes OF shadowbringers.
Seriously, I don't even know where people get the Idea that 7.0 Is going to fix or even partially fix the problems with this game, it's not just one or two people, it's like the majority of the playerbase.
If you don't like the game at all, unironically save yourself the money and quit now because at this point this game is irredeemable. There's literally no point in waiting for 7.0 to fix anything. Spoiler: they won't. Only reason to stick to this game is for secondary, non-game purposes.
Let me just spoil the ending for all of you: FF14 is going to start failing, slowly, Square Enix is going to put this on maintenance mode in like 8.0 or 9.0 or something, maybe they'll try to revitalize it but fail.
CBU3 has like literally no idea how to make interesting progression systems, there is not a single exploratory content or horizontal content that succeeded with the entire playerbase. They just don't know how. They also fired some devs and leads who disagreed with the vision of the game (rumor), clearly they're not open to feedback either. So don't huff the copium really, no need to wait for 7.0. It's already over.

Not every single person is gonna love everything the game puts out, some people will like some things, some others won’t and prefer other stuff. It’s like that with many other games in the world. They’re called opinions. I love this game and your comment did nothing to change my mind and I doubt it will change many others if they already love the game. If you don’t like it, good for you, stop playing it. We who like it will stay.

People hate this expansion and especially the one Cat lady. They HATE that character. It is making me laugh.
I was already kinda over this game since they didn’t make room for more glam plates, but it is kind of hilarious how much people seem to hate this expac.

They do? I’m only about halfway through but I like it a lot and so does the people in my FC. All the new areas are absolutely beautiful, music is great, story is fun and new glam is amazing as well. Sure there are always things people won’t like but I’ve heard mostly positive stuff about the expansion.
For me this is my favorite expansion. No doom and gloom end of the world bullshit. We are just an adventurer enjoying themselves and exploring

@@Andarath69 at times, I agree. It picks up and becomes really interesting at the end of the lvl 96 quests though, I won’t say more than that.
