I had a similar experience. On my way home from work today I was doing 65 mph. I saw your video when I got home, flashed Alex’s tune and went out for a ride. I could only get to 60 mph. I think it was better at lower RPMs, seemed to have more torque. Might be able to play with the spark advance and get more top end. Thanks for all of the content.

Well now that you’ve got into tuning the dlx maybe we can get you setup with one of our chonda riders performance parts say a drop in big bore kit so your CG229cc can be a 250cc or one of our reworked high flow heads with valve work & a cam with a proper tune you’ll really be cruising the highways!! Anyway as always glad to see your still an active part of the chonda community & be safe out riding!!

It’s definitely a nice upgrade! overall the largest initial difference noticed while riding would be a properly ported head as the CG suffers allot in the flow department mainly the exhaust side once the heads done you can slap on a big bore kit which obviously increases displacement by 21cc’s noticeable difference is the torque curve it’ll come on stronger & increase the overall power in the Rpm range the cam while making a difference & definitely adding power would make the least amount of difference overall….port your exhaust side and you’ll probably be more then happy!!
Well, got my turbo van back and it was 2400 bucks give or take, like 5 weeks in the making. They ended up not having to pull the engine, there was a way to get at everything they mentioned taking the back seats out and using a hatch? But has new lines / hoses, timing belt, water pump, those u-joints you showed me, a new vac line, t fitting, y junction, thermostat, temp sensor, 14 new clamps, a few compression unions and some screws and fasteners. It SEEMS to be running to spec the clean floor will be the final judge. But looks like she's back.

Boy I would totally think that the hawk could do well over 70 tuned. Does the tuner program have a set of tables you could alter? That's the only thing I liked about the full stand next ecu I had on my grom. It was nice being able to see what was going on as I rode to know exactly where and what needed changing. They have a lot of hawk bikes in Thailand so I don't know why the ecu shop doesn't have an ecu for them.
You can record and change tons of variables. I have to drive into it.

No. It's been a while, but once you clone the original map you can modify the clone and upload to ECM

The guy who created the tune requested that you contact him for the tune so I had to respect his wishes. His info is in the link. The original tune he sent me has been updated in as much better than the original tune

@@MotoCheez yea lol the cfmoto one is also fuel injected. They do make good 4 wheelers.
Can't beat a Honda though if same price

Can you do the tuning with just the OBDII Scanner Diagnostic Cable?
Cable and adapter, yes
You’ll need the cable to go from the Delphi ecm’s 6-pin diagnostic port to a conventional obd2 connector then a obd2 to usb cable all available from Amazon we’ve used them for a while now tuning these bikes with hud hacker definitely something all dlx owners can benefit from!!

You can get speedo correction inline device to calibrate it correctly etc

I just bought a new 2022 DR650 and it's spedo reads 10℅ higher than GPS speed.

Since they wouldn't be buried, once you swung over it, you'd be able to see it with your eyes anyhow.

My hawk dlx has only 186 miles and keeps blowing the fuel pump fuse when I disconnect and reconnect the ECU..Got caught in the rain and it just stop running on the highway had to get it towed back to the house and it hasn't started since..I replace the fuse fuel pump comes on and fuse always blows in the process of trying to get it started 😳 Help!!!!!!!!
I would check for a pinched wire somewhere first, then I wonder if it's the fuel pump? Try unplugging the fuel pump and turn key on to see if it blows a fuse. If it still blowing fuse it may be the ECM module.
so what was the outcome it was slower?
Definitely more noticeable torque and a little bit more horsepower

That's weird. It only takes 11 seconds to get to 50 but an extra 13 seconds for 50 - 60.
Seems to me like something needs tweaking somewhere somehow. That's as helpful as I can be :D

Maybe just shifting better, but the tune at the end sounded meaner in those first few gears... is it possible the injector is just 100%?
