It's a sin how Hollywood treated 70s & 80s MoPar Squad cars. I had a 77 440 Interceptor Plymouth Gran Fury, and an 80 360 Plymouth Fury just like the one they trash & burn here. Great cars. The 77 was a Lieutenant squad from the Wisconsin State Patrol auction, and the 80 was a Milwaukee PD Detective squad. Miss both of them. Sold one, traded the other for a 73 Kawasaki H2 750 triple two stroke... Wish I still had the widow maker bike, too, all of them gone to Father Time...
Most of that was done around Santa Fe and Mateo next to the river. That was a great area for many years, used in countless things. But around early 00s they started gentrifying the area, and now it’s a hipster hood.
So Hooker tells a guy to stop and then fires a round into the air, then tries to kill the guy. OK. Then he actually thinks he can play bashem with basically a road armored Semi. Yep this was so realistic.
I didn't imagine that '79 Dodges were so resistant...... after a 15 ton tractor hit it on the side it doesn't even have a scratch.....did they build them by carving them out of titanium? Too bad that apparently they exploded very easily.......
Looks like a Gran Fury to me. I owned an 80 GF ex Milwaukee PD Detective squad, just like the one they use here, they are pretty much identical. Shame how they destroyed MoPars in Hollywood.

Wait a minute 🤨 is this truck got armor as front bumper and side tanks are covered so well.
the police car is magically fixed at 1:59
Another one of those magic police cars. Dents disappeared and reappear. 🤔
The lightbar on the roof magically changes too!
Love how Hooker fires a warning shot in the air like Wyatt Earp. Don't know where in the police training handbook that was.
"Yes, I'm looking to purchase some skin." 😆
You and me both!

That red number at the 4 second mark was really nice. Dig how the hub cap just barely popped off the wheel as the car explodes there at the end lol.
C’mon TJ get that truck stopped, it can’t weigh more than five times what your Dodge does…
This show was filled with so many bloopers it made my head explode! These tv shows back then were so corny!
30 year veteran (retired) peace officer.
What a demotion. Commanded a starship but now drives a Gran Saint.
That’s William Shatner playing TJ Hooker!! I remember that show!
I’m surprised his toupee stayed on.
I’ve never seen this movie so have no idea what the “bad guys” did, but it seems like the cop did a ton of damage
Tj Hooker old 80's cop show
They don’t make warehouse doors like they used to! Lol.
Ain't that a good thing? Lol. Although even today, they can't stand up to a semi coming through.
I likes that cabover truck there.
The cabover White Rpad Commander 75 is destroeyd the Dodge Saint Regis
Mr Wint at the end there, having fallen on hard times after getting out of the underworld of diamond smuggling.
Yes I noticed that too
Molto bello il video io sono un tuo grande fan come siciama il film

Movie makers hated cars in the 1970s. The only reason many of them made pictures was to destroy cars. 😮
These are Chrysler products. They saved money because they didn’t have to use explosives.
Wow I love how she hit the ground and never ripped her nylon pantyhose!!! Love those days of TJ Hooker and Fall GUY!!!@😊😊😊
come on Hooker - you really think that car has any chance at all with that Semi?
Who was worse on squad cars: Roscoe, Hooker, or Hunter?
Hunter. Since he wrecked so many that his CO gave him junk unmarked cars until he got a functioning Monaco later in the series.
All of them but roscoe takes first place .
Definitely Rosco. He wrecked so many cars, Boss Hogg took his keys away and gave him a horse 🤣🤣🤣
Sheriff Elroy P. Lobo & Deputy Perkins were hard on their police cars, too!
@@MrJaybody-vd6eb oh right. the bj and the bear spinoff with Claude Atkins. Love the Caddy cop car

"He's running" You could never fool Hooker.
That cab over looks like the truck from "White line fever" but it's stripes are a little different.
Can’t believe my favorite cop car got wasted, although I did see a good handful of replacements.

The welded on flat plate bullbar is so Hollywood, how would one ever un pin it to drop it forward to tilt the cab down ?
This happens everyday in my town.... You know Hollywood, USA!
It reminds me of Beverly Hills Cop armored truck chase!

Je l'aime beaucoup.

Just wasting that Falcon, damn shame!
What are the names of these movies
Info is listed in the description
What does LCPD stand for? It's like GTA...Kinda like LA but not?
Once, I have read on some movie website that it stands for Lake City Police Department but it has never been said during any season.
Fictional city used for the series, TJ Hooker.
