    I always find it funny how car tires squeal on dirt in old movie's.

      If you spin the tires fast enough, you can get them to squeal on dirt :)

    Love how they're driving on a dirt road with tires squealing. Like how does that work? 🤣

      They got new tyres, that haven’t been paid completely. Then the tyres squeel everywhere until they are payed . That’s what we tell someone, whose shoes are squealing. He didn’t payed them 😅.

    I always loved this great movie. The cars of today are way overpriced, fragile, overly complicated computer-controlled junk. Those older Mercury's and Lincolns were great cars.

      Over priced and complicated definitely but fragile no, they are as safe as they have ever been with all the modern safety features

    I'm alive today because of a metal car, everything in those metal cars was three times the thickness of today's cars the glass the metal and the bumpers don't fall off and you can hit all kind of stuff driving to the house and come out the other side and bumper will still be on. I can't believe the public has finally given in to buy stuff made out of recycled trash. Today's cars have a description one whack it's on a rollback they can be made inoperable in a parking lot crash. Then it's on the rollback diesel truck on its way to be recycled for a third time

      Cars these days are designed to crumple better to absorb the impact for you. They are in fact, much safer than these ever were (not as good looking though)

    • @Star-fc4ni
      @Star-fc4ni 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      So well built that the engine goes into your cabin and sits beside you or on you in accidents. Fact many cars that are old many panels on various models were not thick like some people think they were.
      The problem is many think because a car is big they associate and start to have a belief older cars are better for safety.
      Movies are movies and those cars are built stronger for stunt scenes.
      I like the older cars they have less electronics. There are pros and cons to old and new.
      I have been to many county fair demo derbys and those big cars crumple up quit bad.
      Don't allow nostalgia and a belief of thicker metal to convince you that you will be safer. You simply allow your personal feelings to over ride commonsense.
