    Lately, I have been on a mega extreme minimalist home decluttering journey. This is going to be over the course of a couple of weeks, so I can take my time to be mindful about what I will be decluttering. Mindfulness also being a part of my journey to an amplified extreme minimalist home.
    I like to live an extreme minimalist lifestyle as I often live in tiny homes. That simply do not have the space to give over to any extra stuff or possessions. However, as someone who also values home interior, interior design, minimalist design & minimalist style. I do not want to simply get rid of stuff to own less. I want to do so but keep my home orderly, stylish & aesthetic. I think extreme minimalists like Sibu & Youheum Son have proved to us this is possible. If it is a value that we care about. Many extreme minimalists are simply practical. Not caring too much about the aesthetic of their home or apartment. For myself however, when something is not coordinated or tidy and is simply less stuff, it can still become visual noise and clutter, if not stowed away efficiently. This is my goal over the coming weeks.
    To create a super extreme minimalist home that is also aesthetic, stylish, efficient, intentional and sustainable. Moreover, with the use of natural materials. Which I feel creates an organic warm minimalist home despite how few items we may have.
    There are always still practical specifications to consider when decluttering. Such as functionality and lifestyle. What may or may not be useful to us may be useful to someone else and vice versa. I have also discovered that climate, is proving to be very impactive on the type of possessions we keep versus get rid of in extreme minimalism.

    Yes… my zip was down midway through this video 😂 🤐 Maybe these trousers need decluttering if they have a dodgy zip 😂 👖

    I think it is useful for everyone to think about "what specific items are my absolute minimum?". Not to necessarily reduce to those items, but for the imformation that provides.

    • @SagelifeMinimalism
      @SagelifeMinimalism  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes that’s an interesting step. I trialed this in essence when I did my living with only 33 items as often I think many of us could either under estimate or over estimate what we really need and what adds value. I initially underestimated some things. Small simple things like a hair clip for long hair. That one extra jumper or pair of socks 🧦. That actually creates a small bit of pleasant convenience without being able to be accused of ‘over keeping’. Sometimes experiencing can teach us too 😊

    I would love to know what you do about important paper clutter. I try to keep mine as minimal as possible but with medical info and other things I have to keep paper copies of it just makes me crazy.

    Your place looks so calming. Wow. I am trying to make our place minimal and calming but sometimes don't know what to do with all that stuff... spend pretty sum of money accumulating those stuff. Having to deal with every item in order to decide what to do with it is really stressful.

      @SagelifeMinimalism  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I can’t wait to hear about your new declutter method! I would keep the rug for now, what about a corner wall shelf under the thermostat to put the lamp on and hide the thermostat?

    Your apartment looks great. ❤ Every time I watch one of your videos I’m inspired to declutter more of my things.
    In regards to your salt lamp in the bedroom: I don’t know if they have cord covers in England, but there are these vinyl strips that can wrap around cords, and you can paint them to match your wall color.

    • @SagelifeMinimalism
      @SagelifeMinimalism  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Thank You Amy I’ll look into that to see if I can move the lamp abit and then yes cover the black wires. I’ve always found it funny how we have black wires on things that are probably going to be against white walls. Then on other goods like the kitchen where perhaps you wouldn’t mind black wires - they are white 🙄 🤷‍♀️ 😂 ❤️

    • @Amyavalon1844
      @Amyavalon1844 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@SagelifeMinimalism Yes I agree about the cord colors. There are actually clear cords, so why can’t they do this for all lamps. 🤷‍♀️

    Use a white piece of cloth instead of the green one over your thermostat. It would disappear into the wall visually…just a thought.

    • @SagelifeMinimalism
      @SagelifeMinimalism  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes thank you for suggestion. I would obviously have used white cloth if I had some available but I don’t have anything 😊 it was a temporary fix with what I had to hand so we could sleep, as the green and red lights flash constantly 😊
